Many, many thanks to reader and frequent commenter KC Resident, who sent us a link to the Lawrence Journal World News, which featured this large photo of Kansas quarterback Kerry Meier. Apparently, he’s going to be starting the season for the Jayhawks. In case you care, his brother, Dylan, will be the signal caller for Kansas State! We’re laughing too hard at Kerry’s photo to bother look up Dylan’s.

I guess I just don’t think long hair and facial hair are that funny…you could look on every college team in D-1, and likely find 4 or 5 guys who resemble him.

you should double check your reporting, Dylan graduated K-State LAST YEAR, and only started a couple games. Josh Freeman played the majority of the time.

The article is old, but according to the KU athletic department’s website, he’s still their quarterback (with that picture as his roster photo). Let’s just say the Jayhawks aren’t known for being a football powerhouse. . . .
