Spike’s College Football Comedy
College Football, TV November 14th. 2009, 1:55pm
The people at SpikeTV were good enough to send me an early look at their newest original program, Blue Mountain State. While I doubt it will live up to the high benchmark of quality set by Factory, it is about college football. And you guys love college football, don’tcha?
*tussles readers’ hair*
This is notable if for no other reason than the huge number of cameos from major college football figures. Bobby Bowden, Jerry Glanville, Dan Fouts, Mike Leach and even Brian Bosworth show up to talk about Thad Castle. Also, they bleeped out Heisman. You know, because of potential lawsuits.

7.30 looks pretty good Jay. You and me watching TCU / Utah, while everybody else is watching Notre Dame. Turning over to check the score, and laughing at Notre Dame, then turning back to channel 500 something to watch CBS College sports channel.
I just clicked to ESPN to see when/if LSU was playing, and I read that the Grizzlies are now talking to Jamaal Tinsley. Who’s next, Danny Fortson? JR Rider?

Dirt, LSU/LA Tech is on the U at 6.
I can’t wait until we beat them by 3 touchdowns and we hear the “Boise State barely beat LA Tech last week” rehearsed chorus.
Hilarious note of the week: The talk radio shows down here are throwing out the “If Alabama loses to Mississippi State or Auburn and then lose to Florida,” LSU is going to the Sugar Bowl” talk.
