Tony Romo Probably Gonna Have Some Fun Out There in Brett’s Honor
NFL November 15th. 2009, 4:00pm
The Dallas Cowboys are in Green Bay this afternoon. Sadly, Tony Romo will be the only quarterback having a good old time with the pigskin.
No, seriously, there is no way Aaron Rodgers is having any fun playing football. Not a chance.
He lost head-to-head against Favre, his team sits at .500 behind Brett’s Vikings, and no matter how hard he tries, his stubble never looks rugged. Unfortunate.
Not that anyone will be watching, but CBS should broadcast the Chiefs-Raiders game using that cartoon effect often seen in the Charles Schwab commercials.
If you’re looking for an emotional lift, listen to this song before the late games kick off. You’ll be standing on the top rope with your fists raised high by the one minute mark.

4th down for the Rams. No conversion, game over.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:02 pm
Well, I’m glad it was a game.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:02 pm
HE CAUGHT IT???!?!
November 15th, 2009 at 4:02 pm
Is this Chris Rose? I’m glad I didn’t get this game.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:03 pm
Here’s a booth review. Game over or first down.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:03 pm
November 15th, 2009 at 4:03 pm
Not a catch.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:03 pm
THAT BALL’S ON THE TURF
November 15th, 2009 at 4:03 pm
Hit the turf. Rose is fucking moron.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:04 pm
Where are you seeing it hit the turf? Seriously? I bet it did, but those replays aren’t showing it.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:04 pm
Damn. Kudos to the Rams for making the Saints look decidedly un-scary.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:04 pm
I saw it on the second to last replay they showed.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:05 pm
Um, can we see another shot of that you dicks?
November 15th, 2009 at 4:05 pm
anyone need a present for the wife/gf?
November 15th, 2009 at 4:05 pm
chris rose is horrible. should not be anywhere but on the set of THE BEST DAMN SPORTS SHOW PERIOD.

November 15th, 2009 at 4:05 pm
BULLSHIT
November 15th, 2009 at 4:05 pm
IT STANDS!!!!
November 15th, 2009 at 4:06 pm
Trent Green did a good job explaining that
November 15th, 2009 at 4:06 pm
Nice job Zimmer in Cincy. Memo to Mike Singletary, apply pressure to the QB, game winning drives dont’ happen against you.
Cincy has to be for real. 2 wins against Pittsburgh, 2 more against Baltimore. That’s legit.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:07 pm
This is embarassing time waste
November 15th, 2009 at 4:07 pm
Funny stuff – Tarvaris is in for Favre, throws a wobbler to Sidney Rice who promptly drops it. Please don’t retire next year, Favre.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:07 pm
WHEW. He had Jenkins beat
November 15th, 2009 at 4:07 pm
Chris Rose has an MTV Rock ‘N Jock voice.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:07 pm
agreed, I don’t think I knew that.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:08 pm
Well, that was fucking terrible.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:08 pm
9-0 BABY.
/don’t care how we got there
//we sucked today
November 15th, 2009 at 4:09 pm
Fuck you Big Ben – this loss is solely on you and the Steelers special teams. How many fucking passes did CIN bat down today? How many times are you going to underthrow Mike Wallace? Ridiculous. You can’t get into the red zone 4 times and come away with nothing.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:09 pm
How do NFL teams consistently run terrible two minute drills? Hell, that wasn’t even terrible until after the penalty when they had mad time to discuss it.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:09 pm
I said this in the other thread…..but it sounds good so im gonna say it again
Bengals swept Pitt and Baltimore this year. they are GOOD
November 15th, 2009 at 4:09 pm
Thanks to Carolina, we’re up 4 plus the tie breaker and 7 to play.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:09 pm
Huge win. No reason they shouldn’t be 10-2 when they face Minny.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:10 pm
he’s still a winner.
/I never hated the Steelers until I started commenting on this site.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:10 pm
Bills looked good today. Lost by 24 and T.O. erupted on the sideline.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:11 pm
Now listen to the John Adams theme song. It’s a winner.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:11 pm
Saints go 16-0 and lose their 1st playoff game, calling it now.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:12 pm
i hope miami loses. fuck those fake ass celebrity owners
November 15th, 2009 at 4:12 pm
Nice job Zimmer in Cincy.
after watching that locker room celebration when they gave Zimmer the game ball a few weeks ago, I want them to win the Super Bowl
November 15th, 2009 at 4:12 pm
It’s the cherry on top of the awesomeness of that miniseries. By the way, my favorite thing to come out of that miniseries is this.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:13 pm
jay i posted this earlier and ill say it again, as someone who witnessed the pats streak up close a few years ago, be ready for some heart stopping games and tight ones that shouldn’t be close the longer they go undefeated….
/hoping the pats knock them off down there
November 15th, 2009 at 4:14 pm
how do u not go for the endzone 1 play if you are miami
November 15th, 2009 at 4:15 pm
And TO let a pass go through his hands that was intercepted and returned for the final TD.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:15 pm
I think Miami was able to lose to Tampa.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:15 pm
nope, they’re going to win.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:16 pm
sorry, i just got back. I had to go drown my neighbor’s dog in my pool because I heard that FUCKING JIMMY BUFFET song after the Dolphins won. That is the worst piece of humanity ever created for a sporting event
November 15th, 2009 at 4:18 pm
how sad of a franchise do you have to be to have a bunch of celebrities in your ownership group? what the fuck do they know about football? fuck them.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:19 pm
I hope you’re not referring to “Wish I had a Pencil Thin Mustache.”
/takes a swig of Landshark
November 15th, 2009 at 4:19 pm
how many owners know shit about the sport they buy into? A third? maybe?
November 15th, 2009 at 4:19 pm
Brett Favre continues to torture me. End that fucking game already, so we can do to the Dallas game.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:20 pm
Congrats to the Jets for getting Braylon Edwards. This guy is a cancer of epic proportions. And I know, it HAS to be a coincidence things hit the fan when you got him. LOL.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:20 pm
I already have the Dallas game. Roy Williams with a 20 yarder.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:20 pm
jpq have you ever been there for a game? i went a few years ago and everytime they scored they played that stupid goddamned we are the miami dolphins song, now they play that shit. i hope they get shut-out when im down there in december for the pats game
November 15th, 2009 at 4:20 pm
it just doesnt look good IMO tst. all they care about is having their name out and making a little cash.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:21 pm
if you have a 5 step dance routine set up for a 13 yard first down you need to punch in the face. im looking at you roy williams of the dallas cowboys
November 15th, 2009 at 4:22 pm
packers defense is really making my under 48 pick look retarded
November 15th, 2009 at 4:22 pm
there we go
November 15th, 2009 at 4:23 pm
Texans, the team gets a little influx of cash in return for those celebs getting basically a tiny annuity. It’s a win, win for the Dolphins.
There are worse things going on in sports ownership (like the New Orleans Hornets).
November 15th, 2009 at 4:23 pm
fuck. god damnit folk.
/i hate leagues with kickers
November 15th, 2009 at 4:23 pm
I am more excited for a Vikings-Bengals game than I even thought Id be
November 15th, 2009 at 4:25 pm
dirt-did the hornets pick the wrong city? seems like a lot of teams are having trouble. what is wrong with their ownership? i dont follow
November 15th, 2009 at 4:27 pm
I hope no one made the same picks that I posted earlier in the day. A big 0-4 to go with the Steelers loss – not a good afternoon.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:28 pm
gambling on football. wow, who doesnt like a good sweat?
/losing my ass today
November 15th, 2009 at 4:31 pm
10 Fgs.
@Stabbin lost Denver and NO, Tampa and Carolina evened it out. Although I could use a blood pressure cuff prolly.
Got Dallas -3
November 15th, 2009 at 4:31 pm
im trying to tread water until the game tonight, doin a decent job at that…wanna take the patriots big
November 15th, 2009 at 4:32 pm
Sorry 10 FGs in Cinci-Pitts. That a “National Football League” record?
November 15th, 2009 at 4:35 pm
I took Pats +2.5. So that means Colts by 21.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:35 pm
Bulldog: Monster teased Dal, KC, Phi, and Az….. But hey if this doesn’t plan out i still got NE/IND tonight.
/i gotta problem
November 15th, 2009 at 4:37 pm
I debated taking the Pats moneyline, but instead decided to put them in a teaser with the Ravens to get them up to +14.5
November 15th, 2009 at 4:42 pm
@TST: My favorite thing to come out of that series is screaming “Abagail” in Paul Giamatti voice.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:46 pm
jpq have you ever been there for a game? i went a few years ago and everytime they scored they played that stupid goddamned we are the miami dolphins song, now they play that shit. i hope they get shut-out when im down there in december for the pats game
recc: unfortunately, every year I go to the Bills/Fins game here, as I gotta hear it. This year is the worst. You will hear three things so many times you will start punching random Cubans in the 2nd half every time they play it:
1. “That’s another Miami Dolphin…FIRST DOWN!!!!!!!!” (even when they are down by 30 and it’s their first down in 5 possessions)
2. “Buffet’s “Fins to the left”, with people standing and swaying with their hands over their heads like they are” sharks” (LandSHARK..get it?)
3. that Kraftwerk song I needed to get the name of because they play it on a loop every 45 seconds
The “Miami Dol-phins song” is a blatant ripoff of the old Houston Oilers (and Purdue ‘Boilers) song. Wait until you here the new T-Pain version
Obviously, I have issues with the Dolphins
November 15th, 2009 at 4:46 pm
I was 1 away from an 8 team parley in CFB yesterday.
/also has a problem
//fine with it though
///Saints killed a 5 team today
November 15th, 2009 at 4:46 pm
back at home. the plan is to re-watch the last 3 hrs of red zone. seriously.
i did, however, see the jets loss. not worth discussing.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:47 pm
Come on.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:48 pm
I forgot about Braylon Edwards! How’s that been going?
November 15th, 2009 at 4:50 pm
@fellow degenerates. What you think about the O/U of 47.5 for tonight?
Some some reason I’m leaning under.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:52 pm
I was planning on going over – so based on my performance today you should be good.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:53 pm
Id go with the over tonight. Which, like Roeth said, means the under is a lock.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:54 pm
Bulldog: if it was in NE, i would lean toward the under, but in Indy with two good offenses of turf i like the over. I think NE throws all over indy tonight forcing Indy to play catch up. But what the fuck do i know after the way my day’s been going.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:55 pm
It always seems like when the 2 good O’s matchup such as tonight it ends up 17-14. Or at least when I bet the over anyhow.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:56 pm
Atl/NO went over 55 somehow a couple weeks back. I always bet the over on Turf with 2 good offenses.
November 15th, 2009 at 4:59 pm
2. “Buffet’s “Fins to the left”, with people standing and swaying with their hands over their heads like they are” sharks” (LandSHARK..get it?)
Come on.
hernia: This was the big “intro party” in May when he did the song. If you can’t stomach the whole thing, go to the 1:30 mark for an idea of what Bernie and Gladys from Aventura and Hector from Hialeah are now doing in the stadium.

November 15th, 2009 at 4:59 pm
Ok, you talked me into it. Going Over.
Where do you guys wager?
I’m at BetUs and Sportsbetting
November 15th, 2009 at 5:01 pm
Yes I shall make an appearance…Jags played good and shouldnt have been that close if Groves wasnt a complete jackass…but ill take the win and a team in playoff contention…im sure they will blow a game in a dumbass way to take them out of the race though.
November 15th, 2009 at 5:03 pm
Plead the 5th homie, if ya get my drift
November 15th, 2009 at 5:03 pm
So Apple wants us to think that Apple owners are cool guys and PC’s are dorks… and from what I understand from the Microsoft commercials, they want us to think the same thing?
November 15th, 2009 at 5:04 pm
@Stabbin,
Understood.
November 15th, 2009 at 5:04 pm
What do I buy if I’m a cool dork? Or an uncool guy who doesn’t know anything about computers?
November 15th, 2009 at 5:04 pm
Paula Creamer…wow.
/I think they just called another penalty during commericial.
November 15th, 2009 at 5:07 pm
Having just watched a stupendous game (Saints-Rams) this Green Bay-Dallas game is quite the piece of shit.
November 15th, 2009 at 5:09 pm
Thank you, Bengals. Takes a lot of pressure off the Colts’ loss tonight. They can still go 13-3 pretty easily and have a decent shot at homefield. Then again, they could just win tonight and not have to sweat it out. But I don’t see that happening. Not that I won’t be happy as shit if it does.
November 15th, 2009 at 5:12 pm
So Apple wants us to think that Apple owners are cool guys and PC’s are dorks… and from what I understand from the Microsoft commercials, they want us to think the same thing?
Steve Jobs is just happy you hipsters can’t live w/out your expensive iPod phones & iTouch’s, because that 4% Mac computer market share hasn’t gone up in 10 years
November 15th, 2009 at 5:18 pm
Of course TST. You do know marketing image over substance works right? It’s also known as propaganda and/or disinformation sometimes. It works especially well in the land of historically more television viewers and channels than anywhere on the planet — Amerika!
Are you ready to rock?

Oh, I have a PC JPQ because I live in ‘merica and fear new things, I’m just questioning the advertising strategy. Mizzou’s journalism department forces Apples (which might be the only time that happens anywhere) and my brother swears by his because of it.
November 15th, 2009 at 5:19 pm
I didn’t see the name when I posted the last thing and yet I immeadiately knew it was Paolo? Haven’t clicked yet but I hope that’s actually from Cannibal the Musical.
November 15th, 2009 at 5:20 pm
My alma mater’s journalism program was the same way and so is (was) the University of Illinois’. I also swear by Apples because of it. I love them.
November 15th, 2009 at 5:20 pm
He’s right, but I sure as fuck am getting one in 2011 after having to deal with my 4th hard drive crash since 2003 on Windows XP Pro. Apple’s recovery in that event is so much more painless even when you have backups.
And Vista? C’mon even the techies know what a piece of shit that was!
November 15th, 2009 at 5:24 pm
November 15th, 2009 at 5:25 pm
Its not only the journalism programs, but basically all the liberal arts degrees that deal in imagery and video editing. The programming options are better suited for the Macs from what I’ve gathered.
November 15th, 2009 at 5:26 pm
I love my Macbook. My old laptop’s battery went to shit in about a year. This laptop is going to last me a loooooong time.
November 15th, 2009 at 5:26 pm
So what are the reviews on DJ Hero?
Oh wow what a sexy MILF in that Ford Edge commercials talking about the backup alarms.
(Watching my woeful Eagles losing on the West Coast again)
November 15th, 2009 at 5:27 pm
I hear ya Fetch, I don’t think i’ll ever go back to using a PC
November 15th, 2009 at 5:27 pm
Yeah, our film program was the same way. I got so used to using brand new Macs every day that my junior year when I went to St. Louis to do an internship at the Post-Dispatch and they had old-ass Dells with Windows 98 I was like, uh…guys?
November 15th, 2009 at 5:29 pm
I’m not knocking Macs in terms of product, just in terms of practicality to most business segments, because no one uses them. I sold the first wireless computer labs for schools back in 01/02, and it was a foregone conclusion Apple would eventually dominate this market (one of the few Apple owns)

i think she’s my dream woman JPQ
November 15th, 2009 at 5:36 pm
I’m gonna kill Aaron Rodgers for never throwing to Greg Jennings. Good thing I shouldn’t need him to do much this week.
November 15th, 2009 at 5:36 pm
Yeah that Jill of course, but she looks higher maintenance for just some simple good times. I’m taking that Ford Edge MILF with the ready dick-sucking smile for now.
November 15th, 2009 at 5:37 pm
Polls are so incredibly stupid, Penn State beats a 4-7 Indiana team, very sloppily, and moves up 5 spots. Ahead of Iowa, whom they lost to.
November 15th, 2009 at 5:40 pm
ok, just watch, on fast forward, 3 hrs worth of red zone.
good day for underdogs, huh?
f’ing jets, man.
November 15th, 2009 at 5:40 pm
JPQ wow I used to work for IBM and sell solutions (’90s lingo before the .com bust) including their PCs to the federal government. But most of it was over the phone back then and there was no real advancement when I lived in Atlanta.
When you are not screaming aimlessly whilst sloshed at any given football stadium (i.e. Notre Dame stadium 1992), you are still working in that world many years after post-.com bust perhaps congrats?
A return hi-yo for that over 40 MILF commentary to you too and congrats.

November 15th, 2009 at 5:44 pm
TBL Godfather ah I see now that the road to your personal delusional recovery can begin in earnest. On behalf of most commenters may I express our deepest sympathies and support.
The sooner we get back to more posts of hot chicks (consult TSH and Duffy first more please) and NSFW indirect links to links of novel porn as some better NFL content from bsanders and college football posts other than from that Brett dude, the better we will all be.
Not to neglect to mention of course the perpetuation of our solid progress with The Mission.

Paolo: Survived the dotcom crash, but not Osama and 9/11. When all the VC funding dried up after the attacks, a TON of companies like mine lost all their funding and eventually vanished or got bought up for $.2 on the dollar.
I was VP of Int’l Sales, and, as you might recall, we weren’t travelling anywhere back then. I had set up an initial deal in Egypt in 5/01 for about $6 million for their schools, then found out 19 of the 21 hijackers were from there and I wasn’t going back.
The company went belly up, fucked me on a chunk of money, and is now starting to reorganize again I’ve noticed
November 15th, 2009 at 5:52 pm
you people are too smart for me. oh yeah and rex ryan’s face at the end of the jets game was priceless

November 15th, 2009 at 5:56 pm
if the cowfags lose it is on their o-line this time. not romo.
November 15th, 2009 at 5:58 pm
This is the shittiest football game I ever shit. This is like all the scenes of Friday Night Lights games they don’t show you where one team is dominating the other but inexplicably no one is scoring for quarters at a time.

LT to the house, Chargers 21-6.
rout is on?

The Big Ten is a pimple on the ass of college football. That is all.
November 15th, 2009 at 6:34 pm
Just wanted to point out that there are 4 Big Ten teams in the top 15 in the newest AP Poll, the most of any other conferece. That is all.
God, I hope Indians is ranked
/bft’d
November 15th, 2009 at 6:36 pm
this game is worse than the 6-3 Browns/Bills game
November 15th, 2009 at 6:38 pm
McNabb to Maclin, and the Eagles draw within 28-15. if they go for 2 and make it, just a 2-score game.
Jason Avant having a huge game (120+ yds receiving)
November 15th, 2009 at 6:38 pm
go figure with the Packers:
Lose at home to Cincy.
Belted twice by Minny.
Lost at Tampa.
About to go up 10-0 on Dallas in the 4th.
November 15th, 2009 at 6:40 pm
this just proves the mediocrity level of the nfl is so high, or parity, whatever you want to call it
November 15th, 2009 at 6:41 pm
Dumped out on that game, looking for movies to watch. It’s boring as shite.
November 15th, 2009 at 6:43 pm
and … jamarcus russell benched again.
Rodgers TD run (yes!) gives GB 10-0 lead.
November 15th, 2009 at 6:43 pm

November 15th, 2009 at 6:45 pm
holy shit bbob commented…wow
November 15th, 2009 at 6:47 pm
This. Gotta love when you’re playing the Dallas D, and your fantasy QB picks up a rushing TD.
November 15th, 2009 at 6:49 pm
is it close enough to december? romo is having an early meltdown.
November 15th, 2009 at 6:49 pm
Who the hell is number 21 flexing while the play was still going on? Dumbass.
November 15th, 2009 at 6:49 pm
Well, Dallas offically sucks. The NFC outside of Vikings/Saints is a sad pool of mediocrity.
November 15th, 2009 at 6:49 pm
cant blame that on him though. i just like to pile on the guy
November 15th, 2009 at 6:49 pm
jones was down
November 15th, 2009 at 6:50 pm
Oh also- I know we’re talking NFL right now, but anyone planning on being in Tampa on 12/5 for the ACC championship game? I’ll be there, likely with a couple thirties of Keystone Light, Busch, or Natty.
November 15th, 2009 at 6:50 pm
How can you say that Felix Jones had possession of that ball at any point to call him down by contact?
November 15th, 2009 at 6:51 pm
UPS guy has actually “improved” his hair.
November 15th, 2009 at 6:52 pm
as soon as the guy landed on him he was down theres no question
November 15th, 2009 at 6:52 pm
I’ve changed my stance on the call…damnation
November 15th, 2009 at 6:53 pm
what… what?
November 15th, 2009 at 6:53 pm
Awesome. Just an awesome sequence right there.
November 15th, 2009 at 6:53 pm
stupid NFL rules
November 15th, 2009 at 6:54 pm
that is stupid. jones was down. why even have reiewable plays if you’re gonna let bad calls stand?
November 15th, 2009 at 6:54 pm
DRIVER YOU FUCK
November 15th, 2009 at 6:54 pm
so a team cant challenge that they got possession of their own fumble? that smells like an open sewer
November 15th, 2009 at 6:54 pm
/unemployed’d
November 15th, 2009 at 6:54 pm
chicago might be the only one at the ACC championship game, last year’s abortion of a game sucked and the stadium wasnt even 90% full, cant imagine this year will be much better
November 15th, 2009 at 6:55 pm
Hey Jersey (i know you’re reading the comments), worse team: Jets or Irish?
/trick question, they both suck
November 15th, 2009 at 6:55 pm
Cowboys 0 – Pack 17
Guess who’s having fun?
November 15th, 2009 at 6:55 pm
westbrook apparently suffered another concussion. retirement is soon.
November 15th, 2009 at 6:57 pm
I was reading that Clemson fans travel pretty well so they’re hoping they make it down there
Dunno what was up with that non-reviewable call business but I’ll take it…go Pack go
November 15th, 2009 at 6:57 pm
westbrook apparently suffered another concussion. retirement is soon.
he and Bob Sanders have a bet going on who will drown in the training whirlpool first
November 15th, 2009 at 6:58 pm
He should keep playing. He’ll make enough money to pay for live-in help.
November 15th, 2009 at 6:59 pm
Via Twitter
Miklasz being our local columnist we somewhat respect. I can’t explain to you how much a significant amount of St. Louis fans hate Stephen Jackson.
November 15th, 2009 at 6:59 pm
its a little sad but not surprising.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:00 pm
What’s the most relevant game next weekend, Falcons/Giants?
November 15th, 2009 at 7:01 pm
There’s nothing really outstanding on the college or pro schedules, except a couple rivalry games for tradition. Damn you Mike Stoops.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:01 pm
I started Mendenhall,Donald Driver, and Lynch and sat Beanie Wells, Steve Breaston, Justin Fargas, and Jamaall Lewis. I am sad.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:02 pm
Jamaal Charles… sigh.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:02 pm
So………Tony Romo still doesn’t have it all figured out yet and Miles Austin isn’t Michael Irvin Jr.? Gee, I didn’t see that coming.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:02 pm
Don’t forget Palumalu, he went out again today.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:03 pm
i dropped jamaal charles today to pick up devory henderson. i neeed him because andre johnson and steve smith were on byes. im getting my ass handed to me
November 15th, 2009 at 7:03 pm
THE COWBOYS ARE PLAYING THE REDSKINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
/msm’d
//I’m sure Buck and Aikman will be there
///Saints get another one-win team
////so they’ll struggle again, I’m sure
November 15th, 2009 at 7:04 pm
I would definitely pick up Snelling if I needed a RB… high ankle sprains = at least 2 weeks out. Plus Benson goes down and Ronnie Brown’s injury hurts Rickith Williams stock.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:05 pm
It’s actually great to see Rodgers is the one having fun.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:06 pm
GT is 11th in total ypg, 2nd in rush ypg, and 11th in ppg with 36. They’ll likely play clemson, who has Jacoby Ford and CJ Spiller, and played us in a great 30-27 game in week 2. I don’t know, something says this game won’t be an abortion.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:06 pm
So is someone going to email Jersey and tell him to start commenting again?
November 15th, 2009 at 7:07 pm
What’s the most relevant game next weekend, Falcons/Giants?
I would go:
1. NYJ/Patriots = see Belichick go for two up by 50, then try onside kick
2. ATL/G-men = loser stays home
3. Ten/Houston – VY makes his triumphant return to Houston
4. Browns/Lions = race for #1 pick
November 15th, 2009 at 7:08 pm
is that like a C-Webb move, calling for a challenge when you don’t have one to call?
November 15th, 2009 at 7:08 pm
that mnf game isnt going to get shit for ratings
/sad but true
November 15th, 2009 at 7:08 pm
Ga Tech will take Clemson 31-24 in Jacksonville on the 5th.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:09 pm

Woodson bitches!
November 15th, 2009 at 7:12 pm
Heh. Fuck Dallas.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:13 pm
Pick at the one from Romo and he’s not having fun anymore.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:13 pm
Yep. Tony Romo has grown up.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:13 pm
That was great on Woodson part.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:13 pm
I’m loving the shots of Wade Phillips after every play.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:14 pm
Get a fuckin’ haircut you neo-hippie I say. But no shocker that one of our more liberal commenters, TST, applauds that haircut.
It’s one thing if that flowing locks hairdo actually works for a few dudes, typically in music circles, but most dudes like that guy look like douchebags as do most guys I have noticed who have goatees, especially way too many of them with bald heads.
That bulldog “Jim Cramer” look is the most overdone douchebag look of this decade, and I have yet to meet in person a dude with that look that did not turn out to be a major asshole whose ass I could not wait to kick should I ever get the chance without drawing the ire of law enforcement.
It would be cool to know which guys on here have goatees, as I bet almost all are on my Paolo Hater/shit list too.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:14 pm
So, now the story this week will be “what happened to Tony Romo?”
//one week after they crowned his ass?
/the Charlie Weis of the NFL
November 15th, 2009 at 7:14 pm
Charles Woodson couldn’t be playing any better this season…I am stunned by this game
November 15th, 2009 at 7:15 pm
anybody watching the Chiefs/Raiders game? They just broke away from Gus Johnson to listen to the first coverage of an NFL game on the Navajo radio network spoken in Navajo code.
It was pretty cool. When they translated it, I found out that cigarettes are half price compared to Von’s, that they sell gas way cheaper than you can get in downtown Oakland, and their Cali casinos are adding blackjack in 2010.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:15 pm
November 15th, 2009 at 7:15 pm
so when does phillips get fired? tomorrow?
November 15th, 2009 at 7:15 pm
Forget the division. The Saints and Vikings will have the byes sewn up by December.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:16 pm
HTML fail.
You’re probably right about your second point, but I doubt it’s because of goatees.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:18 pm
Paolo, he got a perm or something. The quotes indicate that his previous hair, which was already long and limp, was not “good” (see the quotes?) and the new hair isn’t better.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:18 pm
i shave once a week. i cant stand facial hair
November 15th, 2009 at 7:18 pm
If I had anything to do with any of you gamblers thinking Dallas was good, I apologize.
Jesus Christ, I hate football.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:18 pm
So is someone going to email Jersey and tell him to start commenting again?
Just as long as he changes his name for the next 6 weeks. Let’s say… New Mexico Bowl? or Clemens>San-chise?
November 15th, 2009 at 7:19 pm
Joe Buck talks and it sounds like a droning sound that I have to dismiss. Can he sound less interested about this game since Romo and the Boys just sharted the bed?
November 15th, 2009 at 7:20 pm
McNabb just threw a perfect strike bullet in the end zone to the Chargers DB to end the game. SD 31-28
November 15th, 2009 at 7:20 pm
Charles Woodson couldn’t be playing any better this season…I am stunned by this game
$200 GB+3
November 15th, 2009 at 7:21 pm
Finally a good NFL week for paper picks. 3-1 today as posted here on Friday, +$27.45.
Hits: Cincy +7, Tampa +10, AZ/Sea O47
Miss: Denver -3.5
NFL paper season-to-date 18-20-2 -$71.30.
Much better performance for me in the college ranks on paper and for real for that matter. Rivalry weekends on the next two are traditionally great betting weekends, and for the bowl games screw those.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:25 pm
Ah ok TST welcome aboard thanks.
St. Bear shave that goatee and just watch your life will change for the better well beyond TBL. And if bald, I guess try Rogaine or something I don’t know.

November 15th, 2009 at 7:29 pm
Wrong and wrong. Thanks for playing, though.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:31 pm
That’s good shit jpq.
That was my big play today, lost big on Tennessee yesterday though.
November 15th, 2009 at 7:34 pm
