November NBA is probably the best thing going down tonight. The Cavs have won five-straight and they’re going against the Wizards who have lost six in a row. This would have been far more intriguing, if Shaq had been playing.
Wilt, Kareem, Shaq all ended up with the Lakers. What about LeBron? Sign and trade with package built around Bynum?
I will be heading to my first vegan restaurant for dinner, followed by a cleansing of that wholesome goodness with a late-night buffalo wing binge. TBL will be back tomorrow, or tonight if he feels compelled.

The rerun is The Bicycle Thief episode, which may have been the best of the season so far. That show really is a middle-class man’s Arrested Development, and one of the few bright spots in a terrible season for new shows.

Really? Cal should be able to get a lot of open 3 point looks tomorrow because the SU Zone is a little leaky right now. The one thing that will help SU is that they are really long on the perimeter with Johnson and JAckson and could cause some turnovers.
Also the offense has been iffy. If Rautins hits a couple 3s out of the gate tomorrow SU has a shot. If not, they really struggle shooting the 3.

Similar: When i used to live in NYC, in Queens, my soon to be wife was in the Naval Reserve, and two weekend days a month, she had to go to the Bronx at 7am, for her thing. Only she couldn’t drive. So I’d have to take her. I’d haul ass out of the house at 6am to get there there, pay the bridge toll, drop her off, pay the bridge toll again, and drive home and then try and find a parking place.
Then, 3 o’clock, I’d have to leave again to get her. 2 tolls again, my whole day cut in pieces being a chauffeur.
I was begrudging her the 32 bucks cash, because I was paying the tolls in cash. So Texans, I know where you’re coming from. However, in the end, marriage is a compromise.

For one of my meetings, I did a one day up and back from Atlanta, which consisted of the first flight out of Hartsfield to O’Hare, and then O’Hare to Springfield. Absolute hell. I set my alarm to go off at 3:30 AM the morning of my departure, and I walked back into my house 15 minutes before it was going to go off again. @Fetch, do the practice tests but its not the monster people make it out to be. Basically, if you did well on the SAT/ACT you’re gonna do well on the GRE (IMO).

yeah, beadle i took both the lsat and the gre int the last few months. actually did really well on both, but gre was way easier.

GRE is just like the sat, except now it also included a writing section. most places are just looking for a combined 1000+ from verbal and math. you need to either know ur math or english well. the math is similar to the sat, so you should have learned that shit in hs.

To this day…I have no idea what he was attempting to do against the 2-3 zone. No dribble hand offs, no overloading a side. He literally said “You know what, we’re going to try and get it to our posts at the elbows, no penetration b/c that’s illegal against zones in my unwritten rule book.”
Terrible coaching with no adjustments in that game. Go watch and see how they dealt with the zone. They didn’t change their gameplan at all.
