Nice to see some Simmons fanbois sticking up for him. ESPN always had the creme de la creme when it came to commenters.

So does WEEI get to talk smack about your employees without fear of reprisal?
That’s my question too, how is this not a two-way street?

ESPN’s commenters are a bunch of Bill Shakespeares in comparison to what passes for discourse at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch website (and most local paper sites that I’ve seen).

So how bout I had to argue with my diehard cowboys fan friend (from jersey, naturally) about Emmitt Smith being the “best running back of all time” He actually said this to me, I countered with Jim Brown and he responded that Brown only played 9 seasons so he couldn’t possibly be the best.

Taguchi, do yourself a favor and check out the comments on the NBC affiliate station in St. Louis. Particularly the story about the woman cutting in line and shoving somebody at Wal-Mart. High class all the way.
