Madden Cover Jinx Already Getting to Vince Young
Uncategorized August 14th. 2007, 9:00am
Vince Young was suspended for the Tennessee Titans preseason opener against the Redskins for missing curfew. This comes less than two weeks after he hit an unruly teammate during practice – with his throwing hand – and said teammate was wearing a helmet.
If you believe that bad things happen in threes, then Vince Young’s August woes are not yet over. Has Young been hanging out with Pacman Jones on the sly, or is this the curse of the Madden Cover Jinx?
Either way, it’s a damn good thing we gave the Titans such a low preseason ranking. They’re gonna be awful.

Usually the Madden jinx involves injury, so unless VY twisted his ankle dancing in his house to Soulja Boi, he should be safe.
For now.

Technically, that’s not even Vince Young, when is the last time the game cover featured a Digital Image instead of a likeness? I bet the curse ends with this move.

Check that, when’s the last time a real photo was not used on the cover, and instead a likeness was used? I think VY could skate on this.
