When you jump off of your right foot you elevate your left knee. Nothing purposeful. He’s still an ass though.

He may have intentionally lifted his knee, but no way did he intentionally aim for Bosh’s nuts. If Bosh stood his ground to draw a charge, the knee would have hit his gut. If he jumped high enough to block the shot, he catches the knee between – or on – his thighs. The knee is no dirtier than sliding into second with your spikes up.
But Pierce is still an ass, like cassino said.

The way he looked at him afterwards says otherwise. Looking at it again, he looked like he swung his knee out to hit him.

Portland is making an early season statement for the little guy. Don’t think the UCLA win will mean much but coupled with knocking off Minnesota they are going to have a nice case for an at large if they don’t implode in league play.

That Minnesota one is the worst. At least MSU and Michigan lost on neutral courts to likely tourney teams. Losing to a WCC school on a neutral floor thats not Gonzaga is going to haunt Minnesota. They don’t even get the marquee game against WVU which hurts more than actually losing.
