Here Comes the US Open
Uncategorized August 27th. 2007, 3:28pm
The US Open is here, and bushy-haired Marco Baghdatis is ready. Are you? Last week, we spoke about all the primo talent that tennis players land, and KSK’s Unsilent Majority reminded us that Baghdatis is dating a French model named Camille Neviere who is like 19 years old. Lots of photos of her can be found here, so drool away. Even though we’re partial to brunettes, we hope Baghdatis reaches the final against Tommy Haas, just so we can delve into a spirited debate on who is the hotter tennis girlfriend, Sara Foster or Camille Neviere.
Our picks for the tournament: Federer (yawn) on the men’s side, and we think Jelena Jankovic will emerge from the crapshoot that is the women’s side.
*We’re going to try and make it out to the Open at some point over the next two weeks, and if we do, we’ll be armed with a camera and camcorder in hopes of acquiring some good footage to share with you. And should any of our readers head out to Flushing, feel free to email us reports, photos, or both.

Baghdatis just lost which is too bad. He deserved a night match after his epic battle with Agassi last year. That really stinks, but oh well. Looking forward to seeing your pictures from the Open!!

OK, can we make requests as to which tennis players to cover?
I recommend Maria Kirilenko (http://www.mariakirilenko.com/info.php). Her interests are reading, computer gaming, basketball, and football. Sounds like the typical TBL writer/commenter to me, ha. And yes, as you might guess, she’s pretty as well. No relation to Andrei of the NBA as far as I know, though.

mcbias- I’m not so sure she’s talking about that kind of football.

Look for Ashley Harkleroad. She is a few years younger than me, but I remember hearing about her when I was still playing. Apparently she is an American Kournikova – hot and overhyped.

Unfortunately, Marcos already lost.

funny- it’s about three years too late for Ashley, if she were going to break through it would have happened by now. I first heard about her when I was in high school, a friend of mine managed to get a date with her after a practice session (she wanted to go to McDonalds)

Was it Agassi-Baghdadis last year? You know, the one that went into the late hours of the night. An oustanding match – and I don’t enjoy watching tennis.
Oh yeah, nice rack.

Hmmm. Well I spent a lot of my time in various administrative buildings, smoking thai stick…so maybe it’s been longer than I thought.

TBL- I’m attending this Wednesday. The Williams sisters are always entertaining. I saw Rafa last year in the nose bleed seats. I hope to get a better view.

I know I am being extremely picky here but did anyone else look at all of those pics and think they are hanging low especially for a 19 year old?

TBL,
More Camille Neviere, less Kim Kashardian.
