The Roundup: Holiday Edition

Seems as if Tom Brady has ditched the Yankees hat … while we enjoyed this fawning profile of Florida QB Tim Tebow, we’re curious how they can talk about all these women jocking him, yet make no mention of The Picture, whose origins remain a mystery … why is the media in love with the idea of actor Fred Thompson becoming President? It will not happen … how can an idea as brilliant as free wi-fi in every city be going so horribly? … we could barely talk to girls at 15 – can you imagine going to school in the Ivy League at that age?

To my knowledge, there are no nationally-contracted books about the 2006 Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bears, or New Orleans Saints. But we do have one about the 2006 New York Giants.
God, I hate you myopic New Yorkers. The rest of the country–we do exist, you know.

That Opus cartoon printed here in Cincinnati, where they took the Boondocks away for being too black. So if Opus ran here, I cant imagine who would have banned it for being too edgy.

Simmons is a 2 out of 5 comedy writer with above average NBA knowledge. Nothing else, nothing more. Outside of the NBA, he’s not even a top 15 columnist at the E.
