A Perfect Sunday for the NFL

We’ve got the yahoo scoreboard up and running, Jets-Dolphins (touchdown, Coles!) on the tube, and Sirius on in the background, with a bevy of options (right now it’s Lions-Eagles, but we’re curious to see how the Cards will do against the Ravens. Why go to games when the NFL is cracking down on how hot cheerleaders can look?
This morning, we woke up and made a couple crazy parlays (two six teamers, two three teamers), just for the fun of it. Small money, but high reward. We’ll be back around 4 pm to chat about the early games, but if you care, after the jump, a few of our bets for the day. With Buffalo up 7-3 early over New England, we’re already regretting thinking the Patriots would cover 16.5.

Holy Cow - Lions 7, Eagles 35, not even the half yet.
Waste of space Kevin Curtis has 190 yards receiving and three TDs.

McNabb’s first half: 14/15, 332 yards, 4 TD.
The Philly fans are probably pretty happy with him right now. Why? Because he’s black.

Amazingly, so far, I’ve got 7-for-7 going. A friend tells me there is no way the Bengals win in Seattle.

I was going to agree with that, but Seattle was only 5-3 at home last year (8-0 in ‘05). It seems like they should be able to drop 40 on Cincy, but who knows.
