Devin Hester’s Pimp Ride
Uncategorized September 24th. 2007, 4:09pm
According to a reader with a great camera, this is Devin Hester, return man extraordinaire of the Chicago Bears. The picture was taken at a Shell Gas Station in Lake Forest, Illinois, presumably this past weekend. Hester’s ride looks like something out of an old school Dr. Dre video. We like.

Love the car, hate the Louis print

“Gassindacarmaygitgovrooooooom!”

I wonder if he uses that to drive Rex Grossman to practice.
September 24th, 2007 at 4:43 pm
not after Rex unleashed the Dragon and got salty milk all over the Louis seats.

1. It does have Florida license plates, so it could be legit.
2. Darren McFadden will never visit this site again for assisting in the one-uppance of his car.

Give mcfadden time. He hasn’t made the bigger dollaz yet. its hard to chicago pimp your impala on an arkansas salary.

That picture is even funnier if you’ve ever spent any time in Lake Forest, which is an extremely white, wealthy, “old money” suburb of Chicago. Hester couldn’t have been any more out of place if he’d been photographed on Nantucket.

I’m not a car expert, but…
Is that gas tank in the back? Isn’t that dangerous? I mean, I know he’s Devin Hester, but really….

Full admission: no idea was Louis Print is.
Not that hip, obviously.
Hell, I just discovered the Young Folks two weeks ago, and I’ve been told they were hot in April.

Swandog, come defend your boy.
I can’t stop laughing though when I see this picture. Too funny.
September 24th, 2007 at 5:26 pm
What the hell are the Young Folks?

C’mon TBL, Louis print is the upholstery of the car…Louis Vuitton
September 24th, 2007 at 6:23 pm
McFadden’s car beats the hell out of a LV design. I don’t care what LV products cost, they’re still ugly as hell. I just lost all respect for Hester.
September 24th, 2007 at 6:45 pm
TBL…I’m out of the loop too! I had to google Louis to figure it out.
So living in the Rust Belt causes some of us to be a little behind the times but…WTF!! How much do you think he dropped in rims alone? Those cars did not look that bad when they were new!
Paint job + rims = more than the GDP of a third world nation
September 24th, 2007 at 6:53 pm
Young Folks is how TBL refers to the band Peter Bjorn and John. I think TBL has something against the Swedes.

Is he rocking Pro Keds?
September 24th, 2007 at 8:49 pm
Not a huge fan of the ride. It’s so…. gaudy.

When your rims come up to your waist, they may be too big. But somehow, they work when paired with shorts that come down to your ankles. Well done Devin.

Wow do the Saints suck. These bastards are about to kill my second three-team parlay victory of the weekend.
September 24th, 2007 at 11:37 pm
The Saints sure are a different team at home!
31-14, Titans

So after a thrilling weekend in baseball (four divisions still uncertain), and an underwhelming/boring one (sans GB) in football, TBL gives us eight posts on Monday. Six about football and two regarding off the field nonsense.
What a disappointment.
I visit here solely to read TBL’s comedic/clueless baseball posts.

What was thrilling about the pennant races? No leads changed hands. More clueless baseball fun coming at 9 am!

1) Car should not be lowered. It’s a donk.
2) Fill spouts were in the rear on a lot of late-70s/early-80s American cars. What are you, like 10?
September 25th, 2007 at 11:14 am
Oh, and SVPS…another minor hint that it might be legit….Devin Hester is pumping gas into it.
