Riding the crowded subway Wednesday evening, we’re holding on for dear life but also minding our surroundings when we notice a female passenger reading one of the celebrity magazines. Half a page is dedicated to a story about Sean Avery of the New York Rangers dating actress Lake Bell. Since we couldn’t see which magazine it was and we don’t talk to strangers, we came home and googled the hell out of this, but came up with nothing. It turns out Bell is currently in New York filming a movie, and Avery is out of action due to a separated shoulder, so it’s entirely plausible something’s going on. The bigger question, of course, is whether or not this is an upgrade from Avery’s last actress girlfriend, Elisha Cuthbert. If we can summon the energy today, we’ll try to store and find the magazine in question.
