Uncategorized October 26th. 2007, 11:36amKimmel comes through. Big-time. We thought he was a big giant douche for this stunt, but in light of his spectacular MNF appearance, and now this … we’re slowly coming around.

Douche-tastic!
Here’s to hoping this doesn’t turn into a 3 day debate over the [de]merits of New England.

Wonder if he had to get Simmons’ approval before showing that?

I watched game one with a Red Sox fan the other night and I can honestly say it was the most miserable sport watching moment in my life. I’ve never seen someone so smug, so cocky about a sports team. Talk of a sweep started before the game even began.
Congratualtions Red Sox fans, you have turned into Yankee fan. Which is odd considering how much you despise Yankee fans.
Remember just a couple of years ago when all those bitter (jealous) Red Sox fans complained about the Yankees buying their championships?
The same Red Sox fans who support their team while booing JD Drew. The same Red Sox fans who didn’t seem to mind when their team paid way over value to sign Dice K.
Talk about buying a championship.

While we’re at it, can we also get a PSA for Pats fans? Or does this cover all New England sports teams in general.

The bleep was not nearly long enough.

Man, that’s exactly what I needed to see today. I’m TIRED of Boston sports. Tired.
Go ‘Skins! Go Rockies!

Boston fans spent many decades hating New York fans for being big time douchebags and asshats.
Then, in the span of a decade, they’ve gone and become them.
The hatred, animosity and rivalry was just simple jealousy.

If you’re a Stern fan, I don’t see how how you couldn’t help but love Kimmel’s show. His monologue is pretty much a straight rip job of Robin’s news, with the skits, clips, and jokes.

This just in: Red Sox fans have become Yankees fans!
Also, TBL, I suspect you thought Kimmel was a douche in that CNN clip only because of the “who would buy advertising on a website” comment. Because otherwise he was on point and made that lady look foolish.

Okay so if us ‘overbearing’ Sox fans have become Yankee fans of years past, and all the hate we had for them was just jealousy, then the emotions the rest of you must be feeling now are…. thats right, jealousy. So go ahead and say we’re just like Yankee fans, it’ll be hard for us to hear it, however, while we’re celebrating championships. Hope those sour grapes dont taste too bad.
