Before we jet off to Costco on this brisk Saturday morning … two disturbing pieces of news. First … looks like the boys in blue have nabbed four people in the murder of Redskins safety. Sean Taylor. The police also appear to have scored a confession. A reader sent us two links to the alleged Myspace pages of these murderers, and it seems like these guys - assuming the Myspace pages are accurate - were obsessed with money (and weed, too). Obviously you’ll need to belong to Myspace to check that link out. The other thing is that the 17-year-old supposedly logged in to his Myspace page yesterday and his mood was “pissed off.” Delinquents. (Update: Someone has sent a Myspace of the third purported killer. This fellow calls himself Lil’ Pakistan. You may want to turn the volume down a notch, it’s heavy on the racial slurts.)

Completely unrelated to Sean Taylor … Kenny Rogers just signed with the Detroit Tigers for $8 million … for just one year. Absurd. Even Tigers fans are saying that’s a bit high. But without a salary cap, what’s the big deal? Who cares if you overpay for somebody? Still, it’s quite disturbing that a mediocre cheater who went 3-4 last year and will be 43 in April is making more than all but one player on the Twins, one player on the Diamondbacks, and every single one of the Devil Rays.
