Calling Rihanna a fine young woman is like calling the sun “kinda bright”

How does playing youth football in the 1950’s, when he would have been 12-16 years old equal Hendrix playing college football? And I know college football today recruits some questionable “students” but who signed a high school dropout?

Where’s the post declaring another reason why Tom Brady is in fact “the man”??? Did anybody catch his School Ties look at the post conference? Wasnt he overly cocky (just as much as a turn on), gotta love Brady when he busts out Too $hort lyric from “Blow the Whistle”, oh and on the John Maine thing…..no comment

Missouri only has Mike Alden (their AD) to blame. He got outhustled and outsmarted by Lew Perkins.
I wouldn’t feel sorry for Mizzou fans. They are scum for the most part. Feel sorry for the players that put together a great season.

Friday, in honor of Brady, everyone should rock the white shirt with a tie and a sweater over it.

Louisiana Tech took Hawaii to overtime and almost beat them.
LSU beat Louisiana Tech 58-10.
End of story. Find something else to complain about.
And, by the way, why does ESPN think it’s so important that we know that Jesse Jackson went to Sean Taylor’s funeral? Is he a close family friend, or is ESPN just letting him get more face time as the media-appointed co-spokesman for Black People?

The MMA Fighter died 6 WEEKS after his fight, not 10 days. He also died at a hospice, so it wasn’t sudden.
Just wanted to clear that up for you, TBL.

I’m for Hawaii in the championship game (not that it matters). If ever there was a year to give an undefeated non-bcs conference team a shot, this was it. No other team in the country was undefeated, and–correct me if I’m wrong–there were only two BCS-conference teams that had only one loss. And one of those didn’t even play in its conference championship game. A one loss and a two-loss team backed into the championship game. There have been no dominant teams this year. Let’s face it: This should have been the year to give a non-bcs team a shot at the title.
No matter who wins Ohio State-LSU, other teams will have legit gripes that they should have had a chance to play for the title. If Hawaii had a shot and pulled off the improbable, it would be hard to argue that they didn’t deserve the title. They are the only team that that can be said about.

Hendrix was actually a big football fan at a young age. At the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, they have a bunch of pictures he drew as a kid of different football players at Pac-10 Schools – USC, Oregon, etc. Kinda neat. Plus, I remember he spelled “Eugene, Ore” as “Ugene”.
