So what’s the guess here – Charles Oakley was blunted, drunk, or just wearing an ecstatic gaze because he was going to jail where he is likely to kick someone’s ass? Oak got popped for DUI a couple days ago. Doesn’t this fantastic mug shot look like something out of a movie? The angle, the grin … it really is tremendous. The NBA sorely misses Oak. His closest spiritual heir has to be Ron Artest, though it appears these days, the Kings forward is too medicated to get in a fight with anyone during a shootaround or slap a grown man during a preseason game, all over money owed from a dice game gone bad.

The mugshot is unbelievable. My first guess would be that it was taken at a pool hall, or a strip club (too light though), or one of his car washes.
