For Real? Terrell Owens Hates Jessica Simpson

Can this Dallas Morning News blog post possibly be for real? Sorry, but we find this hard to believe. Apparently, Terrell Owens has chosen the end of the season to try and destroy the Cowboys locker room. We’ve long been an Owens guy (feel free to go through the archives) but if he really blasted Jessica Simpson today at practice, this is a major dick move and we can only hope Marion Barber gets his punk ass in a headlock and Romo gets in some cheap shots.
“Right now, Jessica Simpson is not a fan favorite in this locker room or in Texas Stadium,” T.O. said. “I think with everything that has happened, and obviously the way Tony played and the comparison between her and Carrie Underwood, I think a lot of people feel like she’s probably taking his focus away. Other than that, she was at the top of my list until last week.”

As painful as it sounds, this is not typical T.O. “me me me” bullshit. Yes, calling out another athlete for his selfish actions is pot/kettle/black, but he’s not saying anything else other people are saying too. Romo needs to save that shit for after the season is over.

Yep. In fact, remember the big pre-season NFL news was that he dumped the country singer chick (Underwood? hehehe. Underwood) because he wanted to focus on the season. And now he’s dragging a high-priced prostitute around and flying with her to LA for the weekend after the Thursday night game.
I find myself solidly in TO’s corner on his opinion, although he should have just had a man to man conversation with Romo.

T.O. is right. Romo needs to focus, he has played like shit the last two weeks. This is REALLY a NON-STORY. If Favre called out his teammates it, he would be called “couragous and a team guy”, T.O. gets called a cancer. I mean the poll question on the WWLRadio right now is “Why do you love Brett Favre”….give me a damn break.

I really don’t think that this is about T.O. complaining about not being in the offense. Did you watch the game Sunday? They were forcing passes to T.O. in double coverage all day. And the ones that got to him, he dropped. The last INT that sealed the game? Another forced pass to T.O. in double coverage (and he fell down). If anything, I think a problem with the Eagles game was that they were trying too hard to get him in the game.

So Romo’s the only guy bringing a significant other/wife/girlfriend/whatever to a game? Just because the TV cameras and Joe Buck were obssessed with Simpson doesn’t mena Romo was getting all mooney-eyed at her during the game. I’m more inclined to believe that the wicked shot to the thumb he took had more to do with the performance than Jessica Simpson’s presence.

How do we know Romo doesnt talk about Jessica non-stop in the locker room ? maybe he talks about her handjobs on the sidelines after that first interception. remember, Romo wasnt bally-hooed coming out of college. he spent 3 years on the sidelines holding a clipboard for Bledsoe. and he was thrust into the starting role last year mid-season. He fumbled the snap on the game winning field goal against the seahawks last year. he’s 12-2 and we make fun of his dimples because he smiles all the time. he just got a $65 million dollar contract. maybe he is star struck and all giddy about bangin one of the hottest chicks in the country. dont discount love, gentleman. i hate to agree with Terrell Owens, but MAYBE he is right ?

I hate to say it, but I agree with T.O on this one. The Cowboys are ready for the playoffs and everything is up in the air. Fuck Tony Romo and his ho’ing around…in season. I admit, I hate the Cowboys, but this douche bag is weak…
