Not entirely sure how many folks are suck in the office on Christmas Eve (we feel for you), but just because we’re moderately obsessed with blogging, we’ll have a few posts for you today. Hopefully, this delightful photo of Penelope Cruz will start your day right … a story you should definitely be up-to-speed on, because after the election, it will be THE story of 2008: how the fall of the US dollar has impacted the world … another actor is going to spend Christmas and New Year’s in jail: Michelle Rodriguez … sweet trailer for the new movie from the guys who made Superbad and Knocked Up, and wow, Mila Kunis looks fantastic …
Former Yankees relief pitcher Dan Naulty on roids and the Yankees. A must-read. (NY Daily News)
Even if you don’t like hockey, this is an interesting as hell read about the NHL. (Rocky Mountain News)
What an endeavor – recapping the sports world in 2007 through blog posts. (Sports Business Digest)
Yeah, that Roger Clemens video “denial” was incredibly annoying and it still leaves a massive question: why isn’t anyone else denying the Mitchell Report allegations? (Can’t Stop the Bleeding)
As if you needed us to say it: never, ever a good idea to take our equity from your house to buy depreciating assets – like TVs, cars, etc. (Hartford Courant)
A great opening-season run by Texas was thwarted by Michigan State late Saturday night. (35 Seconds)
The goddess that is Michelle Marsh – married to a soccer player, of course – gave birth to a baby recently. Yup, just an excuse to post a link to her and her massive jugs. (Hollywood Tuna)
The bowl games don’t matter, but occasionally, they are fun: East Carolina blows 24-point lead to Boise State, then wins at the final gun, 41-38. (Star Bulletin)

I was beginning to think I was the only person in the office today–and that TBL was absent! The Man will probably send us home sometime around mid-day, but I at least have some reading material to get me through some of the morning.
Happy Holidays TBL!

Can we get a ballin roundup today?
I’d like to know what irish has to say about his Magic.
Celtics are 22-3. They have a pair of two point losses to the Magic and Pistons and an OT loss to the Cavs. THAT close to being 25-0.

Good to see that Spike is standing in solidarity with his man Isiah. I thought Spike was into winning, but maybe he is scheming to make this whole bizarre saga into some kind of a movie, or something.

All you need to know about Spike is that he still deems Al Sharpton relevant.

sharpton was spot on about the Duke kids too, he knows his sports, thats for sure.

moore absolutely deserved payback for the hit he laid on markus naslund, and if anyone thinks that any other sport players and coaches wouldnt demand payback for their captain getting knocked out theyre kidding themselves. what happened was unfortunate in HOW it went down, but not WHY

Tawanna Brawley also thinks Isiah should keep his job.

Dear hockey fans,
Here’s another uninformed hatchet job on the sport you love by a columnist who only writes about hockey when he runs out of ideas.
Merry Christmas!
