It has been forever since we’ve taken time off for good behavior, so we’re going to be vacationing for the remainder of the week. Our immensely-talented weekend bloggers, Cousins of Ron Mexico (Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday) and Patrick Imig from Joe Sports Fan (Thursday and Friday) will carry you through the remainder of the week, which will probably be heavy on Terrelle Pryor, Pau Gasol, the worthless Pro Bowl (it will carry more value when Romo is photographed walking hand-in-hand on the beach with Daisy Duke), the bizarre and the inane. If you see an obscure link or story, send it to them. (Oh, and The Big Deal will be lurking as well.)
We will be checking email (from our phone on a beach with a beer in hand), and the kind, understanding wife has said that we can bring the computer, so who knows, maybe we’ll drop in a post or two. We plan on deftly avoiding sharks (yeah, right. As if we’re going in the water) and paying little or no attention to the actual world. This means we probably won’t see Duke-UNC, Lost, any new blog posts from Stephen A. Smith, or Friday Night Lights. Thankfully, TiVo is our friend, and we have instructed our friend to quit recording back episodes of 90210, and make room for the best shows on TV (many, many apologies to 30 Rock, a show that apparently has a massive fan base). Be good.
