It’s Not The New Jersey Institute Of Basketball
College Basketball February 24th. 2008, 3:42pmNJIT completed an 0-29 season Saturday with a 76-50 loss to Utah Valley State, setting an NCAA record for futility.
The only people that might find any joy in this are the 1992 Prairie View and 2005 Savannah State squads who each went 0-28. NJIT is also on an overall 33-game losing streak.
The Highlanders were also the only Division I team this season with more turnovers (577) than field goals (550).
I’ve always said if you’re going to do something – do it right. Then again, I didn’t even have the heart to photoshop a basketball onto that picture so I’ve obviously learned nothing from this story.

Well, at least you now know what New Jersey smells like. They hand out one of those HazMat suits every time you cross the Ben Franklin Bridge.

While I can’t relate to season long suckiness, my senior year I was the TE/DE on football team that lost 90-7. On homecoming. And they pulled their starters in the second quarter.

Speaking of losers … why the hell happened to the Suns? I saw they were down early, then clawed by within like five in the second quarter … i switch over the Syracuse game and now the Pistons are up 30 in the third quarter?
