Chad Johnson’s Pouting Continues
NFL March 19th. 2008, 11:49am
The turbulent offseason in Cincinnati continues: Chad Johnson, the talented and wealthy malcontent has decided to make a public declaration that he’s above offseason training with the team.
It’s a good thing we don’t care about the NFL right now, or we might get more worked up about this.

Was, is, and forever will be, an asshat.
March 19th, 2008 at 11:52 am
He’s a great WR, but fuck a WR. Trade him for a #1 (someone will do it)
March 19th, 2008 at 11:52 am
The Bengals are nut to hold onto this guy. They don’t have a lack of talent on offense (especially wide receiver) and their defense is a disappointment year after year. If there was only a way to .. exchange Chad’s service for another player or a draft pick… some type of…what’s the word I’m looking for?
March 19th, 2008 at 11:54 am
What exactly is the bone of contention between Ocho Cinco and the Bengals?
March 19th, 2008 at 11:54 am
Michael Strahan doesn’t see what the big deal is.

So what does that say about the NFL STARS that return back to the Univeristy of Miami in the offseason to work out.
Let me make a short list for you: Portis, Moss, Reed, Mckinnie, Wayne, Wilfork, Shockey, Vilma, Edge, Rolle, Gore, andre johnson, ray lewis, mcintosh, and the soldier.
all these players are known to return to there college training facility
were these guys above there team? some say yes, but what does that show you about unity and loyalty
March 19th, 2008 at 11:57 am
Relax guys he has to take some time off to film more deoderant and Fathead commercials.
March 19th, 2008 at 11:59 am
Lt. Winslow trains in Cleveland at the Browns facility with Braylon. Not sure when you saw him at Miami since he’s been a pro irish.

Yesterday during the play-in game, ESPN did the story. And the story was “Chad Johnson spoke to Jay Crawford on First Take today and he said…”
Like the fact that he said it on an ESPN program is more newsworthy than what he said.

More like a unity of assholes more than anything.

Ocho Cinco has a bone of contention with sanity and mental health. Personally, I look forward to him staying in Cincy and getting shut down twice a year.
Shit. I just remembered that the TBL baseball draft is tonight and I haven’t spent one second preparing. Hopefully I won’t pick Randy Johnson or Roger Clemens in the first round.
March 19th, 2008 at 12:01 pm
only in newspapers when they show people coming back thats all. maybe not in the past two years, but def was he was a rook

Gonzo – Dumb question about our fantasy baseball league… What are the statistical categories?
March 19th, 2008 at 12:02 pm
irish…werd. i wouldnt be surprised if butchy boy encouraged him to head down there.
March 19th, 2008 at 12:03 pm
If the players irish listed were all about loyalty and unity, they’d be working out with their team in an effort to improve camaraderie, build relationships, and you know, build unity and loyalty with their current team.
March 19th, 2008 at 12:04 pm
@412: standard 5×5 stats – R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG; W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP
March 19th, 2008 at 12:05 pm
@ben- true
@spencer- the browns off cord is from the U himself
March 19th, 2008 at 12:05 pm
haha I dunno man. its a 5×5 league. Ben can confirm this.
Avg, Runs, RBI, XBH, SB
ERA, Wins, Saves, WHIP, K’s
March 19th, 2008 at 12:06 pm
Thanks Ben. I was guessing that was the case, but don’t see that explicitly stated anywhere on the Yahoo site.
Does the fact that I have to ask the question bode well for my success in this league?
hmmmmm
March 19th, 2008 at 12:06 pm
@ben- at the same time, dont forget that those players are always known as the one of the best on their specific team
March 19th, 2008 at 12:07 pm
412 I’m chomping at the bit here. I can’t wait for this to get started. I’m excited to see what pick I get.
Ben, is the draft done in snake format? or 1-12 each round?
March 19th, 2008 at 12:07 pm
Even Ken Dorsey, irish?
March 19th, 2008 at 12:08 pm
irish…yea he is. Coach Chud baby. the man is a genius.
March 19th, 2008 at 12:08 pm
Ocho has to stop acting like he has “options” this is it, you signed with Cincy, that’s where you must play until they deal you, which would be bad for them because of the cap hit they’d take.
March 19th, 2008 at 12:09 pm
Gonzo, I gotta believe it’s snake format, especially if it’s Yahoo.
March 19th, 2008 at 12:10 pm
@irish: true, the players you listed are definitely some of the best players at their positions and on their teams. I recognize several of them from my recent fantasy teams as well.
@412: That kind of information is available in ‘Settings’ on the league page. It will give statistics used, positional requirements, trade and waiver wire information, etc.
March 19th, 2008 at 12:10 pm
@nick- dorsey has a house close to where i live. he sure was good in college, but sucks now huh. He sure can golf though, thats for sure. He won the community tournament this past feb
March 19th, 2008 at 12:10 pm
Draft is snake. It would be a HUGE advantage to draft at the top of every round.
March 19th, 2008 at 12:16 pm
it’s a snake snake ohhhhh it’s a snake. Funniest.Video.Ever.

why are the red sox boycotting the Japan trip?
March 19th, 2008 at 12:20 pm
They wanted MLB to stand by the deal (40k stipend) they agreed to so they (the sox) would sign off on starting their season in japan. MLB then said nah, we aint givin coaches, trainers, etc. the 40k. They walked
March 19th, 2008 at 12:24 pm
6 1/2 hours till the draft. I’m with you, gonzo, we need a thread to talk baseball trash.
March 19th, 2008 at 12:24 pm
damn, thanks sterlin. I thought Dice K was starting for that game. The homeland of Japan has to be a little pissed right now.

Is it because it really does hurt when you pee? Are you acting as a warning about the dangers of unprotected sex?
March 19th, 2008 at 12:49 pm
great movie Gonzo, one of the classics
March 19th, 2008 at 12:51 pm
yea, i thought the best forum for my grassroots anti-crotch rot campaign would be the TBL fantasy baseball league.
March 19th, 2008 at 12:51 pm
Did TBL ban swearing or can we bust out the good quotes from Lebowski?
March 19th, 2008 at 12:52 pm

You’re out of your element.
March 19th, 2008 at 1:02 pm
Round of applause to Irish.
March 19th, 2008 at 1:07 pm
That scene with The Jesus is cinematic vertoisity. From the use of the song, to John Tuturo’s acting (and costume), to the slow pan across the faces of The Dude, Donney, and Walter. Brilliant.
March 19th, 2008 at 1:10 pm
Yeah, well, you know, that’s just, like, your opinion, man.
March 19th, 2008 at 1:13 pm
