Out of anger, just took KU -12.5. Will regret it, obviously.
Hey, was it just me or were there zero shots of Curry’s mom tonight?
March 28th, 2008 at 9:49 pm
no shots of mommy and the video doesnt work
March 28th, 2008 at 9:52 pm
An angry pick is still better than picking with your heart
March 28th, 2008 at 9:53 pm
Video doesn’t work? Really? Nobody can see it?
March 28th, 2008 at 9:54 pm
If Bill Self can’t get through a “Road to the Final Four” that consists of beating a 16 seed, an 8 seed, a 12 seed, and a 10 seed, it’s time to retire–because it ain’t happening.
March 28th, 2008 at 9:54 pm
cant speak for everyone, but mine says ’stream not found, try again later’
March 28th, 2008 at 9:55 pm
Not at all. “Sorry - an error has occurred: Stream not found. Try again later.”
March 28th, 2008 at 9:55 pm
says the same here
March 28th, 2008 at 9:56 pm
Prediction - Russell Robinson holds Reynolds under 15 points.
March 28th, 2008 at 9:56 pm
Wow! That oop went off the backboard and Rush flushed it. He hung up there a longggggggg time.
March 28th, 2008 at 9:57 pm
looked like the McDonalds game
March 28th, 2008 at 9:58 pm

March 28th, 2008 at 9:58 pm

March 28th, 2008 at 9:59 pm

March 28th, 2008 at 10:01 pm

March 28th, 2008 at 10:01 pm
what a debacle. like wisconsin.
stanford couldn’t close a fucking window tonight. a 23-5 run to end it?
March 28th, 2008 at 10:06 pm
i wish Joey Dorsey played DE for the Bengals
March 28th, 2008 at 10:06 pm
Kansas is getting some EASY looks so far.
March 28th, 2008 at 10:08 pm
Joey Dorsey on the Bengals is a brilliant idea. I’m sure he’d e a positive influence on those unruly criminals
/dripping with sarcasm
Gus Johnson wasn’t kidding when he said Kansas looks like a pro team.
March 28th, 2008 at 10:09 pm
Kansas would dominate the Heat right now
March 28th, 2008 at 10:09 pm
Russell Robinson making it rain in Detroit
March 28th, 2008 at 10:10 pm
re: Stanford. I hadn’t seen a college team phone it in that badly since the Fiesta Bowl
March 28th, 2008 at 10:11 pm
damnit TBL. Bengals have been staying out of trouble lately.
/oh shit, i better not read the police blotter tomorrow
March 28th, 2008 at 10:12 pm
The all-mighty Pac-10 hasn’t had the best tourney:
Arizona - lost first round
USC - lost first round
Oregon - lost first round
Washington State - lost Sweet 16
Stanford - lost Sweet 16
UCLA - lucky bastards will go all the way until Kansas wrecks them
March 28th, 2008 at 10:12 pm
my bad, Blazers - the Jaguars are the new Bengals
/stuck in 2007
March 28th, 2008 at 10:14 pm
“Sir Arthur”
March 28th, 2008 at 10:14 pm
SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME THE VIDEO IS WORKING AND I’LL STOP YELLING
March 28th, 2008 at 10:15 pm
Xavier is gonna beat UCLA
March 28th, 2008 at 10:15 pm
The Big 12 is making a strong case tonight, even though 3-12 was highly suspect in that conference. And if Michigan State doesn’t step up, that mighty Big Ten will have gone the route of my mighty SEC.
BTW, KU is sick tonight. But that’s the way they play. They’ll beat Texas Tech by 50 and then struggle with some other mediocre team a few nights later.
March 28th, 2008 at 10:16 pm
works
March 28th, 2008 at 10:17 pm
Rush is such a damn good shooter. I know the kid has his issues, and he appears lethargic at times … but damn if he can’t fill it up.
Best Rush?
JaRon, Kareem or Brandon?
In college, it might have been JaRon
March 28th, 2008 at 10:18 pm
we’ve got video
March 28th, 2008 at 10:18 pm
I’d go with Kareem in college.
Drunkest Rush? Kareem
March 28th, 2008 at 10:19 pm
sorry. JaRon for drunkest
March 28th, 2008 at 10:22 pm
I had no problem with the video…and what I put a jags avatar up and you gotta call them out?
March 28th, 2008 at 10:22 pm
What a motley crew these kids are. Can you imagine the Rush brothes and the Lopez bros? That’s a pretty sick starting five.
Who is watching MSU/Memphis? Villanova making a bit of a run here; 9-0 off rebounds adv helps.
March 28th, 2008 at 10:23 pm
I am watching MSU/Memphis
March 28th, 2008 at 10:24 pm
Hi. I’m a Victoria’s Secret model and I’m pregnant, so yeah, they’re getting bigger.
March 28th, 2008 at 10:26 pm
I myself am watching orlando/milwaukee…everytime I see villanueva I wanna punch him in the face…
March 28th, 2008 at 10:26 pm
I’m adjacent to KU. We’re getting them. Jay Wright has definitely started to develop this Michael Dukakis vibe over the years.
March 28th, 2008 at 10:26 pm
great view in that pic. I especially like the mountains in the white dress
March 28th, 2008 at 10:27 pm
Has MSU started hack-a-Tiger yet?
March 28th, 2008 at 10:27 pm
My Hornets got run tonight. But it was in Boston, so nobody counted it as a win anyway.
March 28th, 2008 at 10:27 pm
I’m in Lawrence so obviously getting Kansas
March 28th, 2008 at 10:28 pm
not yet, but they need to do something soon. Memphis is scoring at will. Nietzel and Morgan have been non-factors. In fact, Morgan has not attempted a shot
March 28th, 2008 at 10:30 pm
Looked like a train wreck on that last Chalmers lay-up
March 28th, 2008 at 10:32 pm
wow you guys just missed a mega ginger at the magic-bucks game…holy anything…d12 just knocked down a 20 foot jumper…Irish is gonna be all over that
March 28th, 2008 at 10:34 pm
video works.. btw TBL im in first and you are 2nd in my bracket league on yahoo.. we are separated by a mere 3 points!!
March 28th, 2008 at 10:36 pm
Everyone loved MSU chances!
March 28th, 2008 at 10:36 pm
Brief Charlie V story:
In Vegas at this high school tournament. CV is a senior. His team is rolling. He gets the ball at the foul line against a zone. Everyone starts to collapse and CV spins, throws the ball underhanded against the backboard, runs up and catches it with two hands and dunks it. It was like something out of the dunk contest. Still remains the single greatest play I’ve seen at the HS level.
I’ll look for the story on the trip, should anyone be bored with these two routs.
March 28th, 2008 at 10:38 pm
MSU down 20, and that team isn’t built for comebacks. Say goodnight, Tom.
March 28th, 2008 at 10:39 pm
not even this magic game is entertaining…pretty boring night of basketball…JJ redick should get some burn though
March 28th, 2008 at 10:39 pm
Charlie V was a beast. Can you imagine that Illini lineup had Bill Self stayed there and Charlie decided to honor the his original commitment?
March 28th, 2008 at 10:42 pm
Can a brotha get some close basketball games, is that really too much to ask??
March 28th, 2008 at 10:43 pm
Good point - we could be looking at four games tonight, all decided by more than 15 points
March 28th, 2008 at 10:46 pm
MSU needs a full court press to start the 2nd half. Oh, and let Neitzel just take all the shots. Down 26?
March 28th, 2008 at 10:46 pm
This Memphis game is a beat ass. And the only good movie on the movie channels is Platoon. Great flick by the way
March 28th, 2008 at 10:47 pm
Rose just got nasty … 50-20!!!!
March 28th, 2008 at 10:49 pm
The Big Ten is EXACTLY who I thought they were
March 28th, 2008 at 10:50 pm
Memphis is just playing streetball right now. This isn’t fair.
March 28th, 2008 at 10:50 pm
Amen
March 28th, 2008 at 10:52 pm
would it be possible that gumbel just introduces the other people without pausing and laughing at absolutely nothing?
March 28th, 2008 at 10:54 pm
So Texas vs. Memphis and
Kansas vs. Davidson
You’d think/hope one of those would be fun, but then again, we all thought L’Ville/Tenn would be worth the price of admission .. twasn’t.
March 28th, 2008 at 10:54 pm
“They were…. who we THOUGHT they were”
March 28th, 2008 at 10:55 pm
jake voskul is still in the league?????????????????????????????????????????????????????
March 28th, 2008 at 11:00 pm
MEM/TEX + L’Ville/UNC should be fantastic.
Really hope all four No. 1 seeds make it.
March 28th, 2008 at 11:01 pm
redick 2/2
March 28th, 2008 at 11:03 pm
3/3
March 28th, 2008 at 11:04 pm
6 pts in 4 minutes…if he played all 48 he woulda had 72 pts 12 boards…play redick more!
March 28th, 2008 at 11:05 pm
Redick is on fire.
/ NBA Jam
March 28th, 2008 at 11:07 pm
well guys…JJ redick getting 6 pts in 4 mins was the highlight of my basketball night…thats sad during the sweet 16
March 28th, 2008 at 11:11 pm
@ Jeff. that is sad. And now MSU is simply chucking it.
March 28th, 2008 at 11:13 pm
Great move by “Sir Arthur”
March 28th, 2008 at 11:15 pm
come on nova…make a run..pleaseeeee
March 28th, 2008 at 11:21 pm
RE: Platoon is on
Well … “The Prestige” is on, and that was … okay. And - AND! - the “Dawn of the Dead” remake. Everybody liked that, right?
RE: Wisconsin
Am I the only one who thought that Michael Flowers, despite winning “player of the game” for Wisconsin, was among the biggest reasons the Badgers lost? He was dribbling WAY more often than usual, and it looked like this really upset the flow of their offense. It was like he took the Stephen Curry pub personally, like “I’ll show them who the awesome guard in this game is.” And he, uh, did. I thought that was huge.
Also huge: Davidson making four three-pointers in five possessions midway through the second half, turning a 3-point game into a 15-point game in the blink of an eye. Hard to recover from that.
March 28th, 2008 at 11:24 pm
Too bad Shaun of the Dead isn’t on.
March 28th, 2008 at 11:26 pm
You know maybe I’m easy to please but I was a pretty big Prestige fan.
March 28th, 2008 at 11:29 pm
This definitely looks like the year all four 1 seeds make it. Kansas will be way too much for Davidson (unfortunately), Louisville will have to shoot 70% to keep up with UNC, and Xavier cannot out-UCLA UCLA. Texas has the best shot, against Memphis.
March 28th, 2008 at 11:31 pm
The way Texas looked tonight they can do it. Of course the same can be said about Memphis
March 28th, 2008 at 11:43 pm
I picked Louisville over UNC and Texas over Memphis. I am not feeling great about those right now.
March 28th, 2008 at 11:46 pm
Jack - what happened to Wisconsin’s superior scoring efficiency?
March 28th, 2008 at 11:48 pm
only a 14 point lead in the kansas-nova game. TBL sweating this out?
March 29th, 2008 at 12:06 am
Well, at least Kansas covered.
March 29th, 2008 at 12:08 am
@ TBL so you’ve got that going for you…. which is nice.
March 29th, 2008 at 12:10 am
Holy Cow - Kobe has 47 in the third quarter!
Could he be on his way to another 80?
March 29th, 2008 at 12:18 am
Kobe, “he’s en fuego”
March 29th, 2008 at 12:18 am
Jack - what happened to Wisconsin’s superior scoring efficiency?
It went in the toilet. Anything can happen in a one game scenario. One game doesn’t change the fact that they had one of the 30 best offenses in the country this year (out of like 340 teams), no matter how much you think that running and jumping and shooting every ten seconds is “more entertaining” than working for open shots and making them.
Dammit. I hate Wisconsin, and I hate you forcing me to defend them.
March 29th, 2008 at 12:24 am
Anybody here ever watch MXC? That’s pretty much the only sport (kinda) worth talking about right now.
March 29th, 2008 at 12:26 am
Wonder who Kobe is abusing. Rudy Gay? He’s stuck on 47 after 3 … but more importantly, the Lakers are losing to Memphis. At home.
March 29th, 2008 at 12:30 am
This kid is ridiculous. He might pass Danny Manning for most memorable tourney player if Davidson can pull this out. Wow.
March 29th, 2008 at 12:30 am
Kobe has big goose egg for assists tonight.
March 29th, 2008 at 1:12 am
Triston, when his teamates shot 12 for 67, how many assists could he possibly get?
March 29th, 2008 at 3:08 am
spider man spiikder man, doing the best that he can
thats how the song gfoes right??
March 29th, 2008 at 9:33 am
Curry is fun to watch. Anytime an undersized kid owns players who are suppose to be better than him, its fun to watch.
