Because he’s got to be finished in the NFL after yet another off-the-field incident that resulted in his arrest this morning. Enjoy the CFL, bud. Roger Goodell will NOT stand for a guy showing him up like this. (Nice mug shot!) What part of last-season’s 8-game suspension did you not understand, Chris?
Random Conspiracy Theory: Marvin Lewis heard about the arrest late Tuesday, and then called Chad Johnson to notify him of the situation. Lewis begged Johnson to return to the team (knowing another season without the playoffs would certainly cost him his job), and that’s why Ocho Cinco is eager to come back.
Funny: According to wikipedia, Chris Henry was majoring in “athletic coaching” at WVU before getting thrown off the football team and leaving school early for the NFL. Is that actually a major at WVU? And what could Henry possibly teach anyone as a coach? Oh. He might have been on a path to coach football teams in jail. Got it.

TBL, apparently you didn’t see SportsCenter this morning, they had OchoCinco on and he was more pissed than ever. But Henry is most likely done, and the Bengals are going to be terrible this year. Fighting, losing, coach fired by week 8, its gonna be great.

Henry has some talent…when he feels like showing up. I wouldn’t say he’s great, though. Then again, I think Troy Polamalu is pretty good.

Agreed that Chris Henry is a beast as a #3…..he can get behind just about anyone.
Anyone remember why Chad Johnson is the way he is? About 5 or 6 years ago in what was probably his 2nd or 3rd season the Bengals were atrocious and the undefeated Chiefs(10-0?)were coming to play Cincy and Johnson GUARANTEED victory.
He got a ridiculous amount of pub for making such a ludicrous claim and then the lowly Bengals actually knocked off the Chiefs.
Johnson learned that being an ASS and making absurd comments = nonstop attention.

Yeah because he can’t get 4 & 5 star kids to come to Michigan by selling the tradition… get over it. He HAD to grab pacman types because he was at WEST VIRGINNY! For goodness sakes. IF he pulls a Kelvin Sampson he will be run out of town, believe me. He is a good coach, he knows what he has with M and he won’t screw it up. He can recruit on tradition here, where as at WVU he uhhhh couldn’t.

Wow, it always amazes me how fans treat the coaches that basically made their programs. Without Rich Rod where is WVU? He made your program and he leaves and you do nothing but trash the guy. It is laughable, really. He took a few shady dudes when he had to, when he was building a program. How the hell else are you going to get talent when all you have to sell is WVU? I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt until he screws up and takes terrible kids. Until then I would just appreciate what he built for you down there in Deliverance-ville.

Mags…i get what youre saying, and even agree with you to a certain point, but WVU has been a nationally recognized program for a few years now, and Rich Rod still went out last year and got Noel Devine, spectacularly talented, but who has already gotten in trouble at WVU and had about as checkered a past as you could get.
not saying its going to continue at UM…we just don’t know at this point, so ill refrain from further RR bashing.
