Last week, Bryant Gumbel resigned from the NFL Network. Reading between the lines, it seemed to be one of those, ‘we’re going to let you go, but to put a positive spin on it, you just resign’ deals. Now that we’ve got the NFL Network, we’re actually interested in who his replacement will be. (Aside: For the seven of you bitching about an NFL schedule post, bugger off. You will have forgotten your team’s schedule by July, anyway.) We’ve crammed a few of the talked-about options into a poll after the jump.

Who should replace Bryant Gumbel at the NFL Network?

  • NBC’s Tom Hammond (26%, 128 Votes)
  • Who cares, I don’t get NFL Network (23%, 113 Votes)
  • Somebody Else (except Dennis Miller) (20%, 99 Votes)
  • Fox’s Pat Summerall (14%, 68 Votes)
  • CBS’s Ian Eagle (13%, 64 Votes)
  • ESPN’s Pam Ward (4%, 19 Votes)

Total Voters: 491
