Yardwork: Roundup-ish
Baseball April 20th. 2008, 2:59pm
Seriously, I’m going to hire a neighborhood youth to do my yard work in the future. Sure, I could go through the scoreboard and give you every single score from yesterday, but that’s already old news. Instead, I’m just going to put up a picture of a baseball card, tell you the Marlins won and then give you a couple MLB stories and links.
Florida 6, Nationals 5: Fans in South Florida have reason to be optimistic. Kevin Gregg got the win and improved to 2-0 on the season. Wes Helms hit a walk-off single. Hooray!
Now, some reading assignments:
The rest of yesterday’s scores. (MLB)
I find this fascinating – Did the 1918 Cubs throw the World Series the year before the Black Sox did? (Fan House)
Frank Thomas wasn’t hitting so he got released. Where’s he going to land? (Posted Sports)
An article about the knuckleball. (The Love of Sports)

Mailing it in CRM? Hire the neighbor kid to do your yardwork…not your Yardwork.

Posting a photo of Kevin Gregg will be your ultimate demise. NEVER trust a man with two first names. Eff the Marlins.

Friday and Saturday at the Phils games was ugly. Yikes. This rivalry is getting really, really nasty.

It hurts me to say this, but the Tigers are cooked.
