The Groom Wore A Football Helmet
Athlete Wives, NFL April 20th. 2008, 2:12pm
Eli Manning got married yesterday. The lucky gal was his college sweetheart, Abby McGrew. You might remember McGrew from her case of hypothermia during the NFC Championship game.
Weird how the picture appears to have been taken from a neighboring island. I know when I get married the photographer is going to be allowed on the premises. What? Papparazzi? For Eli Manning? Weird.
More pictures of the bride and groom and their new cutlery can be found at The Post website.
For fun here’s the caption from this photo:
Eli and Abby look at the ocean. The well-tanned pair held hands as they exchanged vows underneath a canvas tent that was adorned with striking pink flowers as a live band stood ready to play.
God I would love to just describe things I’m looking at and get paid for it. No thought necessary. Just state something’s color. “The orange was round. And orange.” Pay me.
On a personal note, my friends Mike and Katie just got engaged. I couldn’t be happier – The bride’s uncle is paying for an open bar.
Update: Oh yeah, congratulations, Mike and Katie. I knew I forgot something.

Let me get this straight: Instead of posting Yardwork, you post this bullshit. I call shenanigans. Anyway, I’m off to watch the Dbacks kick the shit out of the padres again. You stay in last place, San Diego. I’m Ron Burgundy?

Cuz, post every game but the D-Bags from last night.

You misspelled “backs” Gonzo. Honest mistake I guess.

You guys realize there are like 100 baseball games every day right?

Cuz, I WISH there were 100 games per day.

I’ll second that.
