Dwight Howard Would Make A Great Bouncer
NBA April 20th. 2008, 4:00pm
I tried to throw up a post earlier, but Dwight Howard blocked it.
Seriously, I’ve seen firewalls that don’t block as much as Dwight Howard. I don’t think Rasho Nesterovic is ever going to attempt another shot. I really feel bad for the guy. Heck, I was hundreds of miles away and I watched the second half with my hands over my eyes.
This afternoon, the Magic took game 1 in their series against the Raptors The final score was 114 – 110 and D-Ho was absolutely nasty. Howard went for 25 points and 21 rebounds. Twenty and twenty. Good stats for any Spartan.
Oh, then there was the fact that Toronto wouldn’t go inside the 3-point line for fear of drawing Howard’s ire. Howard finished with 5 blocks, numerous shot alterations, and one goal-tend that ended up in the mezanean in Amway Arena.
See, Dwight Howard hates layups, floaters, and mid-range jumpers. The only thing Superman respects are dunks. That’s why he and LeBron are cool. That’s why Tom Chambers and Shawn Kemp have an open invitation to come to dinner at the Howard residence. Most importantly, that’s why the Orlando Magic are dangerous right now.

I will transport my post from Yardwork:
TBL, are we really not getting the Lakers game b/c of the Papal Mass???

Don’t you people know that Danica Patrick actually won a race? What’s with all this basketball talk today?

Remember on Sega’s basketball the Tom Chambers dunk from the free throw line? In fact, you could do that dunk from almost ANYWHERE on the floor. I bet Howard would have the same move if they made that game today.
Mike, get all your thoughts in now. Next Sunday may be your last day here for a while.

@Mike: Fuck the church.

Mike, what are you talking about? I’ve been watching the entire Lakers game and I’m pretty sure the Mass is over by now either way. And I’m not TBL

Did you have to put a feather in Irish’s cap?

The weather is shitty in Cleveland, Dwight Howard’s a beast, and Kobe is getting carried to another playoff win by a dominant big man.
I guess some things never will change.

Because you don’t live in New York, I take it.

I heard last night that CP3 is pound for pound the NBA’s best bowler.

Speaking of beasts, Sheed came to play today. Dude can absolutely dominate when his mind’s right.

Cortes, I didnt hear that during the game. If you could tell me the quarter and around the time remaining, I could find it.

Great post CRM. But the score was 114-100, we dont want people thinking it was too close of a game.
Dwight Howard is a man amongst boys. I have been trying to tell yall all year, but keep hating.
