TBL is on a plane somewhere (and somewhen!) over the Atlantic right now, so Greg Oden will be the one toasting you into this huge weekend in sports. We’ve got the second weekend of the NBA and NHL Playoffs; baseball, the Draft, and Patrick Imig. While you don’t have to drink boxed wine to hang out, I’m sure Patrick will enjoy your company as he takes you through this big weekend. After the jump, we’ll take a quick look at each playoff series.

Eastern Conference:

The Celtics are Liz Lemon and the Hawks are Button Classic because the C’s are crushing them. I thought the Hawks could steal one, but it looks like its going to be Broom Time in Beantown. (Look for that headline from all major sports outlets next week.) The series continues tomorrow at 8. [Our very own atlantasportsfan sounds off on A-town Fandom]

LeBron was beastly in games 1 and 2 and then the Wiz started to actually play ball in game 3. We’ll have to see if the trend of the Wizards actually acting like the better team continues. This much is certain, DeShawn Stevenson is annoying. Game 4 is Sunday at 1.

It looked like Dwight Howard and the Fighting irishmafia’s were going to sweep, but Toronto responded at home with a big win last night. Somebody is leaving this series with playoff experience. Game 4 is tomorrow at 3.

The big surprise so far was the 76ers stealing homecourt advantage from the Pistons. If someone actually tells Andre Iguogala that he’s allowed to score in the playoffs we could be looking at a big upset. If Detroit wins tonight (at 7) this one could be over even though it will only be 2-1.

Time for a refill…

Damn. That does look tasty…

Western Conference:

So far the Lakers have beaten the Nuggets handily. We’ve already had 49 from Kobe, now its time for the 167-159 regulation thriller. Look for it tomorrow at 5:30.

Three close games, one Houston win. Can Rafer Alston’s return make the difference? Will tomorrow’s 10:30 start time be the final straw that causes T-Mac to finally fall asleep?

Chris Paul is who we thought he was. If you want to crown Chris Paul, crown his ass. That Jason Kidd trade seems kind of silly at this point doesn’t it? Catch the latest installment of “Crushing Dirk’s Dreams” tonight at 8.

The Spurs will not die. The Suns on the other hand… 10:30 tonight Steve Nash – facing a 0-2 deficit – tries to save the season.

If you want to go back and look at how staggeringly accurate my predictions were:

Have a safe weekend everybody. Remember to not drink box wine and drive. TBL will be back sometime… *cues the black screen* Enjoy the Imig.
