Playoff Ballin’: Jamal Mashburn Topples Viewers w/ Compelling Insight
NBA April 26th. 2008, 1:32pm
76ers 95, Pistons 75
S. Dalembert had 22 points and 16 boards and Andre Miller scored 21 giving Philly a 2-1 lead in the series. This is getting serious for the Pistons. Rip Hamilton scored 23 and represented one of just three Pistons to score in double digits.
Mavericks 97, Hornets 87
Dirk had a monster game for Dallas, a cool 32 points and 19 rebounds and Jason Terry added 22 and 6 assists in the Mavs’ first home playoff game of the year. Jannero Pargo had 30 points for N’awlins.
Spurs 115, Suns 99
Tony Parker had a monster-monster game with 41 points and 12 assists and Tim Duncan had a double-double to spare with 23 and 10 boards. Shaq and Leandro Barbosa each shot 9/17 from the field, it’s just that Shaq’s field was the free throw line. Is it safe to say the Suns are done? Did I just end a post with a question like a lazy mainstream columnist?ÂÂ
In other news, Jamal Mashburn informs us that if the Raptors can play the rest of the way like they did on Thursday, they will win their series against the Magic. In other words, if they win each game the rest of the series, they’ll win the series. Thanks, Jamal.

Look, I work for the phone company. I’ve had a lot of experience with semantics, so don’t try to lure me into some maze of circular logic.

Well, the thing about the Pistons is that they can’t just ‘turn it on’ as easily as they used to. I’ve been a Pistons fan all my life, but I’ve kind of grown tired of them losing games they shouldn’t, and then saying ‘Oh, we know what we have to do, we aren’t worried’. It gets old.
