Los Angeles Lakers 120, Utah 110: Ok, so no more hunch posts. The Lakers led from start to finish and remain the only unbeaten team in the postseason. Kobe had 34, Odom had 19-16, the Lakers made 7-of-11 three’s and went to the line 43 times. If Deron Williams (25 points, 10 assists) doesn’t wake Carlos Boozer, this series will be over, quick. Boozer got in foul trouble again, made just 3-of-10 shots and finished with 10 points. The Lakers seem to be the heavy favorite to win the title and Andrew Bynum hasn’t played a minute. Scary?

Orlando 111, Detroit 86: Magic jumped out to a huge early lead, Chauncey Billups injured his groin, and then the Pistons surprisingly rallied to keep it close until the fourth quarter, when the Magic pulled away. Billups slipped and did the splits on the baseline in the first quarter, and went to the locker room shortly thereafter. Somebody will say it’s karma for his bogus triple in game two that helped the Pistons to victory. If Billups can’t go for game four – it looks 50/50 at the moment – Rodney Stuckey (13 points) is his replacement. This kid is a largely unknown rookie (he went to Eastern Washington) who few had heard of when March Madness rolled around in 2007. Then he shot up the draft charts last year and the Pistons grabbed him at 15. Rashard Lewis went for 33, but what’s interesting to us is that Jameer Nelson played another strong game, and in the two games he’s played well, the Magic have been competitive. He was poor in game one, and Orlando was routed.
