Did you guys hear that Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals is tonight? (9pm TNT)

On Wednesday, Kobe had a slow first half before a second half breakout that included 25 points. Will he continue to show the aggression that fueled the Lakers’ comeback in the first game? Or will he go back to facilitating for his teammates? (For what it’s worth, Kobe handed out 9 assists versus only 1 turnover.)

The Spurs may have blown their big shot at the series giving up a 20-point lead mid-way through the 3rd on the way to a Game 1 loss. Tim Duncan dominated with 30 points and 18 rebounds on Wednesday, but Kobe’s second half breakout negated Duncans’ great showing. Manu Ginobili – obviously nervous from hearing that he is one of my favorite players – struggled from the field scoring 10 points on 3-13 shooting. I continue to wonder why Bruce Bowen gets open looks in the corner, yet is closed out on everywhere else on the court.

Since TBL isn’t here, I’ll make the hunch – Lakers run away with it.
