While watching France tie Romania in Euro 2008 earlier this afternoon, one of the announcers mentioned that the latter’s captain, Cristian Chivu, would be getting married to a “well-known TV announcer” after the tournament. The announcers went silent for a few moments, perhaps snickering off camera. They didn’t mention her by name, but we quickly performed the google function, and presto, here she is: Adelina Elisei. We’ll tuck two slightly more revealing – yet completely safe for work – photos after the jump.

Bonds got a ton of coverage for 600, and there were already whispers about steroids. Why isn’t Griffey getting more props for this accomplishment? Guys get more coverage for 3,000 hits than this…
