Did Floyd Mayweather’s Crew Jack Javon Walker?
NFL June 18th. 2008, 9:30am
Perhaps. The Raiders’ wide receiver is still in a Las Vegas hospital with “significant facial injuries and a concussion” according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Walker told police he was robbed of $3,000 in cash and $100,000 in jewelry after at least two people approached him, shoved him in a car, and beat him up. Likely story, right? Well, it’s much more likely than what Walker told The Dirty (don’t think Matt Leinart won’t be calling Walker about this friendship). Walker claimed some nefarious individuals showed up at his hotel room in the Bellagio blazing guns, beat him, and then dragged him out of the hotel and dumped him in the streets.
Anyone been to the Bellagio? It’s one of the swankiest and most posh hotels on the strip – based on our experience, frequented by the older, high-rolling, not-as-hard-partying crowd. The hotel is littered with cameras. It seems very, very unlikely that, in the middle of the night, anybody could drag a strapping man who was unconscious and beaten, out of a hotel. We’re not remotely close to getting to the bottom of this story.

I read on The Dirty that The Dirty is the most credible website on the internet.
June 18th, 2008 at 9:33 am
/just kidding no one has ever read anything on that website

I leave for a 4-day vacation in Vegas tonight. I’ll get to the bottom of this for everyone while I’m out there.
June 18th, 2008 at 9:35 am
what hotel, Roth?
June 18th, 2008 at 9:36 am
I was 99% certain that Maj’s post was 100% satire. Anyhow, how the hell do you drag someone out of the Bellagio? They have security all over that place. I guess the lesson, as always, don’t mess with Money Mayweather.
My name is Money
My name is Money
My name is Money May Weather
I need to get me jingle for myself.

Floyd Mayweather will do whatever it takes to stay semi-relevant.
Except fight Cotto.

We’re staying at the Mirage. I’ve stayed at most of the major ones (Palms, Hard Rock, MGM, etc.) before, thought we’d give this one a try.
June 18th, 2008 at 9:39 am
Reportedly, Money May advised Walker to step his game up. May also referenced that he gots a private jet.
June 18th, 2008 at 9:40 am
You’re exactly right though – there’s no way you’re going to someone’s room, work them over, and then drag the person through the hotel to the street without being noticed.

Man I hate it when people show up to my hotel room with guns. What ever happened to dueling it is a much more civil way to part people from their belongings. Lives.
June 18th, 2008 at 9:42 am
roeth i stayed at the mirage last summer good place

The peep hole was on backwards!
June 18th, 2008 at 9:46 am
100k around the neck and only 3k in the pockets? Weaksauce…
June 18th, 2008 at 9:46 am
Why in the hell would they drag him outside? What makes the ’source’ think they did that… doesn’t it make much more sense if he was just walking down the block, ‘they’ spotted him and stomped him out?
/Javon Walker is a dick anyways
June 18th, 2008 at 9:50 am
haha. right. Trouble just happens to find this guy where ever he goes. poor guy and his bad luck. oh, and they spelled his name wrong.
June 18th, 2008 at 9:51 am
Favre did it, seen leaving the scene on a Snapper.
June 18th, 2008 at 9:55 am
Walker is an idiot! Being in the wrong place once I can give a guy a pass on, but twice makes him dumber than Mike Vick. Just cause he got his face caved in doesn’t make him any more of a victim than Pacman. He flashes his money and bling around Vegas and expects the less reputable to leave him alone? Sure, everyone should be able to go out and party like normal people, but he ain’t normal and doesn’t party like a normal person. Fucking idiot.

Maybe somebody was pissed about being sprayed with champagne the night before. Dry cleaning bills are expensive.
June 18th, 2008 at 10:02 am
I’ll never understand why a man would be wearing 100,000$ in jewelry. For that reason alone I support his ass kicking.
That and he’s not terribly good at football either.
June 18th, 2008 at 10:03 am
Wait, how does Floyd Mayweather fit into this post again?
June 18th, 2008 at 10:08 am
with all the cameras in casinos, this case should be wrapped up in about 24 hours. unless Javon is lying, which wouldn’t suprise me.
RE: $100,000 in jewelry: that’s how we stay fly.
June 18th, 2008 at 10:08 am
@KC I love orange juice. I pour it all over my bitches. Oh you mean the former Buffalo Bill – um If I were to be OJ here is how I would have theoretically posted on a blog…
June 18th, 2008 at 10:09 am
I really need to get back to Vegas.
June 18th, 2008 at 10:09 am
@benji
Tupac would have issue with that.
June 18th, 2008 at 10:10 am
Did I ever tell you guys about the time I lost 40 dollars playing penny slots in Atlantic City? No? Well sit back and get ready for the ride of your lives!
June 18th, 2008 at 10:13 am
@Benji – Then some Vegas pawn shop owner is really fuggin fly today.
Why couldn’t this have happened to Chad Johnson?
June 18th, 2008 at 10:14 am
Where’s Terry Benedict in all of this?
June 18th, 2008 at 10:15 am
You can’t attack Chad Johnson because he’s never more than 3 feet from of a video camera. Sometimes being a jackass with a false sense of self-importance is a good thing.

Chris Henry sees a job opportunity out west.
June 18th, 2008 at 10:33 am
Anyone who’s ever stayed at the Bellagio* knows there is no way that happened. Steve Wynn’s going to run Walker through the wringer on this one.
*or any other nice hotel, or watched “Las Vegas”
June 18th, 2008 at 10:36 am
The rooms in the Bellagio are WAY overrated. The casino itself is pretty classy though
June 18th, 2008 at 10:38 am
The bigger story is what an idiot Javon Walker is.
Isn’t spraying alcohol what started the whole fiasco when his boy Darrent Williams got killed? Did he learn nothing from that night.
June 18th, 2008 at 10:40 am
Al Davis prob forgot about this 10min after they informed him.
Stupid Raiders, what a waste of cash.
June 18th, 2008 at 11:12 am
Who advises these moron athletes with their stories? They always sound like a 7 year old made it up to cover a lie.
June 18th, 2008 at 1:19 pm
Isn’t this the same way the Mets dismissed Willie Randolph?
