Shaq exquisitely rapped, ESPN fumbled the trade-heavy NBA Draft, Terry Bradshaw admitted to using steroids three decades ago, Norman Chad stopped by to chat, and renowned author and columnist Rick Telander uttered his colleague’s name without projectile-vomiting. Another busy week is in the books here at Casa TBL, and we’re quite eager for some R&R at the end of next week for the July 4 holiday. The Mex Man will take you through the weekend - we hope to finally become owners of some golf clubs! - and we’ll probably be tethered to our computer Sunday for the Euro 2008 Final.

Hey! Chris P., Mr.Lead don’t hate Kobe, he loves him! He said it one day there’s plenty of love here at the Big Sidebar for Kobe. He even gave a headline mention for Kobe winning the MVP. It’s not like he posted 3 times the same video about Shaq bashing Kobe…
Kobe is the bad teammate here and the only douchebag in the league. You have to understand that Shaq was always a great teammate, he never postponed surgeries until training camp, like Kobe is doing this season. Don’t get fooled about the “trying to give gold to the US of A”, Kobe only thinks about himself and this only a excuse about not wanting to go to training camp. Shaq would never rip every ex-teammates. And the Chris Quinn rant this year, was love because Shaq is so funny. Everything he does it’s so funny, even if he starts killing people it’s funny because it’s Shaq. Big Aristotles is funny!
I don’t understand why people think Mr.Lead hates Kobe. This is the place of all love for Kobe! I would tell if there’s an ass that Mr.Lead knows how it tastes, it’s Kobe’s ass!

CH4Os, that’s straight BS and you know it. How many times did this guy go out of his way to let us know when Kobe had a bad game or whenever he would come out on the losing end in a head to head matchup with another superstar of his equal (you know, the other guy whose a** TBL likes to taste). As for your quote that Shaq would never rip an ex-teammate, go ask Penny Hardaway for his opinion on that for that matter go and also ask Pat Riley and Phil Jackson how the knife felt when he put it in their backs too. I promise you, it won’t be long before this guy finds a way to to rip D-Wade as a bad teammate too and it also won’t be long before Phoenix finds out how two-faced the guy is once things don’t start going his way. Shaq is one of the all-time greats, no doubt about that, but he’s becoming increasingly annoying as his career winds down as he continues to publicly whine anytime things start to not go his way. I respect your admiration for Shaq but don’t get sucked into the Big Hype Machine because this guy is nothing but a big baby. What MC gets on the mic and blames another dude for his divorce, maybe he should have spent less time trying to be like “Big Poppa” and more time being the “Big Responsible Husband”, tell me Shaq, the divorce attorney wants to know how does 50% of your fortune taste?”

Chris P- he was being sarcastic. TBL loves Lebron, too many of its commenters are from Cleveland not too. Business decision, ya know? Plus I think TBL just tries to be edgy in a Madonna/old uncle that wears his letterman jacket in his 30’s type way.

Just saw Incredible Hulk. Very good. Not quite Iron Man-good, but a solid hours of fun.
