NYDN: David Wright and a TV Reporter?

Buried in the New York Daily News today: there’s a “rumor” that Mets 3B David Wright may be dating WNBC-TV correspondent Diana Russini. Not much on the image front of Miss Russini online … so we sat through a couple TV reports and yanked two screengrabs (they’re unflattering, and after the jump). She played soccer at George Mason. Our pal over at Tom Brady is my Baby Daddy knows Wright a bit from the New York party scene, and hopefully will chime in shortly.

clown…I will except the Piazza and Strahan barbs in good fun..but young David is off limits…this guy pulls some hot tail and apparently he is a really dorky dude…when He first came up to the Majors one of the girls I worked with at the bar was dating him (she was one of the hotter girls I have personally known) and he would leave cheesy drunk messages for her that she would of course let us all here…I lied the fact that a good looking athlete was a dork..

Guys I have seen this girl in person, she doesn’t look like the person in some shitty screen grabs that TBL got. I would expect a baseball player to get better but she aint bad.

Oh David, David…I do love my David but as i’ve told him, he needs to upgrade his game. You know those guys in college that didnt have to do much and girls would just flock to them and it was easy for them. Thats how this kid still thinks. I love David but his (off the field) game does need much improvement BUT on the flip side this kid is focused on ball. He knows that his number one thing going, he doesnt get that caught up in the chicks (unless its after a few screwdrivers and its Super Bowl weekend in AZ and then…). David is just one of those really cute guys, that you can just look at and make out with, which is quite alright with me.
