If I had to pick a favorite fighter in the UFC, I would have to go with Forrest Griffin. He has all the qualities of the San Antonio Spurs. He works hard, doesn’t do anything flashy, and more often than not, come out with the victory. Basically, he’s so fun to watch for all the same reasons that people hate the Spurs.

A few days ago, as I was trolling Forrest’s MySpace page, I noticed this video of him playing high school football. Forrest was a defensive end and the quarterback rolls right into him. The sack isn’t that impressive so I don’t know why he posted the… oh. Yup. That’s definitely him.

He ran off the field like he had just made Shogun Rua tap, did a little hop-skip over the chains and ran directly to the bench like a good boy. Of course he was too excited and ended up head-butting a teammate or two. I think the play-by-play guys were a little worried about him.
