When a Coach Ventures into the Blogging World
Blogging, NBA, Video July 28th. 2008, 4:30pm
Athletes blog. Their moms blog. A Padres front-office man does, too. And now: a former NBA coach. Eric Musselman has coached the Warriors and Kings – not with much distinction – and while he waits for a college hoops gig, he’s blogging. Frequently.
The blog was almost like a re-birth. Thinking about basketball in different terms, reflecting on some of what I’ve seen and learned during my life and career, corresponding with other coaches, teaching, meeting new people — it’s been incredibly therapeutic for me.
Four former coaches we’d love to see blogging: Grady Little (just to see Pedro show up in the comments section), Sam Wyche and Bruce Coslet (to watch them go off on Norman Chad), and Isiah Thomas (obviously).

That’s not just any Padres front-office man. That’s former Billy Beane assistant Paul Depodesta.

Actually it was a solid chat… nothing outrageous or unexpected… Fulmer is always a class act who represents the school and the state well.

Nah I'm good.Nice.

Agreed. Now, if he would just win the NC every season, crazy-Vol-fan-guy would be satisfied with the on-field performance.

I just spent a good 15 minutes reading his blog..not bad..could use a well placed F-bomb to spice things up though

I think once Ozzie Guillen starts blogging you’ll get all the F-bombs you will ever need.

Good stuff — one of better coaches blogs I have seen.
