Who Will Sign Brittle Shaun Alexander?
NFL July 30th. 2008, 6:45pm
Seems like there’s a vote for New Orleans. With Ryan Grant and the Packers at odds, we wouldn’t be shocked if Green Bay got in the mix. How confident, really, are the Broncos in cocky Selvin Young? The Lions might start UCF rookie Kevin Smith. How could Alexander not compete with him?
He turns 31 at the end of August, and clearly, the number of carries he shouldered in his late 20s wore him down. But is his career really over?

Who cares. Why is Britaney Spears in a McCain Ad. Does this even make sense.

Being the only Saints fan here, I vote no. No, no, and most importantly, hell no. For cheap, he would be a decent backup for when Deuce knees give out in week 3, but I like Pierre Thomas. Besides, Reggie already fills our needs in the soft RB department.

I was thinking Lamont Jordan would have been great in N.O…….how come noone talks about Stecker out there? He played really well as the Thunder back in the last 4 or 5 games last year.

Stecker is ok for a few games at a time. He played pretty decent when Deuce went out last year. But I wouldn’t want him carring the load when Deuce goes out for the year in week three.

If the Broncos had any interest they would have signed him instead of Michael Pittman. And if Young can’t carry the load, then Ryan Torain will.

I know I’m late to this party, but it’ll either be the Saints or the Bengals.
