Number 3 came in the 200 Metre Freestyle. Oh, and if you were wondering, it was “another world record.” Phelps won with a time of 1:42.96. It’s the first time anyone has ever been clocked under 1:43. It goes without saying – but I’ll say it anyway – he’s nasty.

Oh, and while I was typing this, he tied the Olympic record in another qualifying event. Three down – five to go.
