Well, this is my last day in charge of your escape from work. Starting tomorrow, I’m going back to the good life of Googling females for the afternoon links. If it wasn’t for the fact that I know TBL writes this entire blog with one hand on an XBox 360 controller, I’d almost thank him for all the hard work he has to do every day.
This is Ana Lucia Dominuez – I hope you like her. She’s a Col0mbian actress that you’ve probably never seen unless you love telenovelas, like I do.

Palin was a member of a political party that wants Alaska to succeed from the US
did they look into her background at all??
September 2nd, 2008 at 8:26 am
The Christian right are actually coming to Palin’s defense on this one, praising her family for not aborting it. Please, if this was a democrat they would be harping “family values” and condeming it.
Should be noted that Palin is a huge supporter of abstinence only education. Look how that worked out.
September 2nd, 2008 at 8:28 am
what is wrong with a state that wants to SECEDE? There is a huge push in Vermont for that to happen as well. I say let them. This country was created by a secession.
September 2nd, 2008 at 8:41 am
(sigh)
when does college basketball start again?
(sigh)
September 2nd, 2008 at 8:42 am
giving up that quickly on the season, miz?

ISP’s have always had download caps, but they were undocumented and varied wildly depending on your provider. While I do not like the idea of caps (whole slippery slope thing), 250gig is a lot of data. What they haven’t clarified is if it is a download only cap, or a transfer cap, which would include upload data.
Whats a condom mommy?
September 2nd, 2008 at 8:47 am
Condoms are for immoral, promiscuous whores sweetie. What, you’re pregnant??
Wonder what kind of names McCain is calling Palin’s hot-boxed little daughter?
September 2nd, 2008 at 8:49 am
I guess you could say I’ve got a little knee-jerk disappointment, sparty.
September 2nd, 2008 at 8:52 am
you just summed up life as a Spartan fan.
September 2nd, 2008 at 8:54 am
Poor Palin. Her daughter was just trying to stay warm during the harsh Alaskan winter/spring/summer/fall.
September 2nd, 2008 at 8:57 am
MSU choked (surprise) when they had a chance to win but at least played decent, and Cal is a decent team. Tenn lost to a bad team, that happens, but the bigger problem was that they just looked terrible on offense.
September 2nd, 2008 at 8:58 am
CRM, is this going to be the only post today? I’m just trying to plan my day.
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:00 am
i guess the choking took place early in the 1st half. if you watched the game, we were trailing the majority of it. kinda hard to choke away a game that you have been trailing the whole time.
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:01 am
IMO this whole legal issue with the Alaskan State Trooper is more damaging than the pregnant teenage daughter. There are considerably more votes McCain’s at risk of losing if some shady politics come out of that situation as opposed to the daughter issue. It can’t be too good if Palin’s already hired a lawyer for the situation.
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:02 am
You guys had it within 7 with some momentum in the 4th, then decided to allow an 80 yd TD run.
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:03 am
Hef, you douchenozzle, you – No. I’m following the general guidelines in the TBL rule book. Section 3, Paragraph 5, Rule IIIf:
Oh, shit.
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:04 am
I’m so disgusted with our head coaches. I can’t fathom how a team can year after year be so unprepared and outcoached on a regular basis, yet there are no repurcussions. You could show this game to a person who has never seen football in their life and it would glaringly obvious how awful our coaching staff is. It makes me sick that I waste my time on these bums. I hope 40 people show up to the home game. Fulmer has to go. It was time about 3 years ago. Good thing he got a raise last year. Blows my fucking mind.
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:15 am
Crompton was terrible last night
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:16 am
i don’t think that constitutes as a choke. especially since we were both unranked and we were the road team. the loss was definitely disappointing. a road win out west to start the season would have been huge.
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:17 am
He sure was Dr. C. The entire coaching plan was terrible as well. Why they kept throwing when they couldn’t get a pass off and we’re running successfully just boggles my mind. Typical UT football. I’ve never seen a team look so unprepared for a game. Well except for other times UT has played. It’s like they don’t practice.
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:19 am
Didn’t Fulmer get an extension after last night?
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:22 am
clown: Wouldn’t surprise me. I’m done. Any teams out there need a fan? I’m expatriating from this shit storm.
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:23 am
Roll Tide.
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:27 am
That game was an embrassment. The team never looks well prepared, ever! 2 false starts in a row. Crompton looked like the worst QB ever yesterday, consistently sailing balls over guys heads, and skipping the ball in at their feet. a few of those field goal attempts were just stupid. How many 50 yarders are you going to try? In the second half, it was obvious that UCLA was worried about their QB so they gave him a ton of soft underneath stuff. Never saw an adjustment from the UT Defense. the coverage on the outside was just plain soft. I dont understand how fullmers job is so safe.
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:32 am
There isn’t a better example of outcoaching on the planet than any time UT takes the field.
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:38 am
Dave Wannstedt is holding on Line 2.
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:41 am
Roethlishotdog: I hear you, but Pitt doesn’t have the talent UT does, so while he may suck, he doesn’t suck as bad as Fulmer. No one does.
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:42 am
Sean Jean, if you’re looking for an exciting offense, go with ASU. You’ll feel like a genius when they beat Georgia on the 20th.
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:46 am
to be fair, what the hell else is there to do in Alaska?
oh, and Shane Battier is getting screwed over in that Floor Burns tourney.
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:47 am
Could happen Hef. Georgia is pretty overrated.
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:50 am
You mean Luigi?
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:50 am
Sean – that’s the thing. The local papers around here have barraged us with how Wannstedt is pulling in Top 10 recruiting classes every year, how he’s out-recruiting PSU, etc. You’d think he was working with UT level talent (and beyond).
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:52 am
Re: what Sean Jean said
I agree.
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:53 am
sparty, you should just change your handle to ‘whore.’
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:54 am
Nice to see the Bucks take care of business versus a lower division opponent. Very workmanlike.

I’m done. Any teams out there need a fan? I’m expatriating from this shit storm.
There’s another SEC team in-state that won’t break your heart by promising the world, and just might surprise you… come over to the Black and Gold!
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:55 am
SeanJean, I would say to root for Penn State, but you’ll only find ill prepared players, bad QB play, and a penchant for losing your 4 most difficult games, all of which you are familiar with.
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:55 am
i prefer slut.
September 2nd, 2008 at 9:59 am
@August – the funny thing about what you said is that Vandy was the class of the state this past weekend.
Here’s who lost: Tennessee-Martin, Tennessee-Chattanooga, Memphis, MTSU, Tennessee
Here’s who won: Vandy
September 2nd, 2008 at 10:00 am
Tennessee has that many colleges? This doesn’t make any sense at all.
September 2nd, 2008 at 10:02 am
silly Heffler. Tennessee has many more colleges and I’m sure they all continued with the trend of fail this past weekend too. I couldn’t find the scores though to prove it.
September 2nd, 2008 at 10:04 am
@miz: my heart went out to you guys when Foster fumbled… We went through the exact same crap with Cassen Jackson Garrison over the past few years.
September 2nd, 2008 at 10:09 am
I was in Nashville this past weekend having a blackout blast in Printers Aly. From what I do remember, no one gives a shit about any football team in the state outside the SEC.
September 2nd, 2008 at 10:10 am
@miz: you can add Austin Peay to that list of losers… my Govs got waxed 41-6 by North Dakota State. I’m just happy they’re playing scholarship football again.
September 2nd, 2008 at 10:11 am
@August – Foster used to fumble frequently but mostly got over his butterfingers in the offseason prior to the 2007 season. hopefully we’re not going to see that start up again. how was your heart when Crompton was missing his receivers by 5 yards (too long and too short)? mine was aching.
call up Coach Johnson right now and tell him to make sure to work Nickson on some short routes across the middle. there’s a hole the size of the end zone in UT’s defense there. but, tell him not to exploit it until after halftime; that way the UT coaches won’t adjust.
September 2nd, 2008 at 10:12 am
should have linked to this, instead of an article for the first link.. you know, cuz people like pictures in the morning.. not crazy things like READING!

Unwanted teenage pregnancies are good for the economy.

September 2nd, 2008 at 10:16 am
@August – Absolutely. Then we made the mandatory step across the street to The Stable (I think that’s still the name of the quality stip joint there).
September 2nd, 2008 at 10:17 am
more people to spend money to help the economy!
September 2nd, 2008 at 10:22 am
Transexuals are greatest boon to the economy of the last 10 years. They think and shop for two.
September 2nd, 2008 at 10:27 am
Foster always fumbles in huge situations. It’s what keeps him from being a dependable and good running back. He’s garbage, and he never improves. Much like most of this roster under Fulmer. Ugggg.
September 2nd, 2008 at 10:37 am
@Sean Jean – I’ve sarcastically enjoyed the attention that Foster is getting for approaching the career rushing record at UT. the only reason he’s there is because of longevity and he hasn’t been good enough to even get a look in the NFL draft. did Creer even have a carry last night? I thought the play-calling was atrocious.
September 2nd, 2008 at 11:23 am
miz: Yep. He’s garbage. He’s a pretty good runner at times, but can’t hold onto the ball and dances too much without running North & South. It just doesn’t work. And yep, the play calling makes me want to vomit. You almost have to try to be that idiotic and blind.
