additionally, only tv people gripe about the length of college games. judging by attendance and tv ratings it doesn’t seem that fans mind four-hour football games.

Yeah, just a preference. I mean I watch NFL football from 1-11 PM on Sundays when I can, I’m just more of an NFL guy.
