I guess I don’t feel bad about drinking more tap water and less stuff with 5 pounds of sugar. Sorry, it’s probably a good thing that people are drinking more water.

didn’t we cover this in the Round Up about a week or 2 ago? I think it is the same link as well.

Media is ignoring the Bucs because at some point their true colors are going to come out along with all their suckiness. They’ll even probably make the playoffs again to just lose in the first round. The only thing going for them is that they have the best backup QB rotation in the NFL. Problem is they don’t have one good enough to start. Defense can’t always score your points, and a weak division only gets you so far.

Bull Durham is overrated.
I hear they’re making a sequel, though. Maybe it’ll be better.
October 15th, 2008 at 8:09 am
is shaun alexander really going to help the skins or is this just a pitty signing….pretty sure betts is a decent backup running back and portis is pretty good, right?
October 15th, 2008 at 8:13 am
sand – Betts is out 4-6 weeks, i believe

Tony Romo was going to star in the Bull Durham sequel, but he had to attend Kevin Duckworth’s funeral.

No
fixed and yes
Shaun Alexander has been awful for two full seasons now. Things aren’t going to magically change in Washington.
October 15th, 2008 at 8:29 am
It’s just going to be frustrating when Alexander starts getting goal line carries.
October 15th, 2008 at 8:32 am
if betts is out, then this is a good signing….don’t care how bad alexander has been playing the last two seasons. seattle’s o-line was fucking terrible for all two seasons, only reason they were any good was because hasselback managed to get the ball out before he got sacked. the toll of all the hits he’s taken these two years is starting to show in the fact that he’s not playing either.
@crm – try having earnest graham and watching dunn blow up…gruden’s never going to sit dunn now
October 15th, 2008 at 8:32 am
CRM,
He may have to fall down immediately upon receiving the ball in those situations to insure he doesn’t receive contact.

the nfc south is weak?
October 15th, 2008 at 8:38 am
@BraveSrRob – If they’re on the inch line and he takes the snap, he could score.
@sandibalz – I’m a Dunn owner.

I have a set of those workout resistance bands. If you use them as part of a circut workout they do a pretty good job. There are a bunch of different exercises you can do with them.
October 15th, 2008 at 8:45 am
I agree that the QBs aren’t great, but I’m not sure why you think it’s a weak division? They’re only 1/2 game behind the NFC East for best overall record for a division. That makes them crappy?
Our starting FB (Askew) is out with a hamstring injury and his backup tore his ACL early in the game. So Graham had to shift to FB. That’s why Dunn got all the carries. Not much Gruden could have done about that.

I kept waiting for her to start taking her clothes off, a la Naked News. Sadly, this did not occur.

Zippy chance he starts getting goal line carries. It’s not like Portis can’t punch the ball in from inside the 5.

Tampa kid who was suspended for ‘Rayhawk’ haircut is a huge hit with the Rays, ESPN.
Fuck Education…Go Rays.
Why is the media ignoring the 4-2 Bucs?
Because John Gruden told them to.
October 15th, 2008 at 8:52 am
give those to your dog.

same kid who CRM linked on here w/ the “stupid” haircut. Look where he is now. Actually, his parents moved to another school district. That principal should be ashamed
October 15th, 2008 at 8:57 am
NFC south is weak? before last year, an NFC south team has made the Championship game 5 straight years. Tampa twice, then EVERY other team in the division one time each. That seems pretty strong to me.
October 15th, 2008 at 8:57 am
@sparty – I’m sure he would love to shit those out.
October 15th, 2008 at 9:01 am
“Our head”?
October 15th, 2008 at 9:02 am
The last three years the NFC South team has gotten worked in the Championship game. I don’t think the South is weak. I just think that those three teams that have gotten worked in those previous three NFC Championship games are considered the same team now. None of the teams play at a high level on a consistant basis.
October 15th, 2008 at 9:05 am
Mak-You just described the NFC south in the past tense. But I agree NFC south is not weak…if you want to be real, no division in the NFC makes my Dick hard.
October 15th, 2008 at 9:12 am
Under further review, the kid looks really cool. I feel soooo stupid now! I’m just glad the kid was able to rise above while I was trying to drag him down.
October 15th, 2008 at 9:14 am
that’s probably a good thing
