How Long Until Charissa Thompson Lands at ESPN?
1-liner, Media Gossip/Musings October 17th. 2008, 10:15amErin Who?: We’re not too familiar with Fox’s Charissa Thompson, but she’s certainly poised to become our all-time favorite sideline reporter. “Two weeks ago, I dyed my hair from blonde to brown, and it was unbelievable how much attention it caused. In dying my hair, I realized how much perception is emphasized in looks. It was a good case study to figure out how you’re looked at.” (Randball)

Nice to see a home town reporter doing a story about a more successful journalist. Good stuff Grand Rapids.

Oh my god! I can’t believe people care about my looks!
Honey, that’s all we care about, and you know it.

Why is it that beautiful girls never realize that looks matter!?

I saw her on the Hawkeyes game on Saturday, then the Packers game the next day and immediately hit up the Google machine. Very nice indeed.
October 17th, 2008 at 10:26 am
I’ll agree Obama has it won, but I wouldn’t be paying out just yet. A lot more mud to be slung in the next two weeks.

thompson is cuter than EA.
multitasking last night between two football games and baseball, but i caught foghorn leghorn (bowden) really getting a good one-liner in at EA (you know, ms. “i’m a florida gator.”)
EA had a stupid question about how he would rank his halftime speech (apparently he unloaded on his team). bowden looks right at her and says, “i save my best ones for florida.”
EA had some dumb lesley visser line like, “ooooohhhhh, all right.”

i may be late to this, but i saw over the weekend pictures of Tommy Bowden’s daughter. She was a sideline reporter but i think she lost her job and hasn’t found a new since nude pictures of her appeared online. not bad either. (Semi NSFW, nude picture but censored.)

@TBL
After reading that second link, I really am truly scared some crazy ass hole is going to do something extreme and stupid once Obama wins. I may not have been around for very long (25) but I have never seen so much animosity in a presidential election and so many seriously mis-guided people. I mean some people really think Obama is a terrorist! I mean they really think that. Is that not the craziest shit ever? I truly fear for Obama and hope nothing bad happens to him. Some of these gun toting righties are pretty scary. You mix un-intelligence and fear of difference and you have yourself a dangerous mix.

not bad benji. Where is the money shot?
October 17th, 2008 at 10:38 am
irish, the original picture is here (i think, i didn’t go to the link) totally NSFW.
October 17th, 2008 at 10:42 am
@benji- i googled her and took the safe mode off. that link sucked but thanks though for the effort

@Maggs – I really only think it’s going to get worse during every election race. I also agree with your sentiment “You mix un-intelligence and fear of difference and you have yourself a dangerous mix.” as much as I absolutely love my home state (TN), it’s a perfect example of the cliche saying that stereotypes exist for a reason.

@Maggs & TBL
From a post I made yesterday…
As much as I don’t want to see Obama win, my even greater fear is that another “Lee Harvey†will come out, and then this will happen…

Like I was telling my buddy the other day; money runs all of this. C-R-E-A-M. I said; if Obama pisses off the wrong people who have enough money something bad is going to happen. He said “not with the authorities we have now and all the security” and I said “Yeah and all those people are just people too”, there aren’t too many Serpicos out there anymore, especially when times are tough… it scares the living shit out of me honestly.
October 17th, 2008 at 10:56 am
I completely fear for Obama’s safety should he win. There are too many ignorant assholes in this country to not see it coming. It’s fucking terrifying and sad.
October 17th, 2008 at 10:56 am

@moleman – Who do you think manufactured the powdered wigs?
Seriously, this election is like a collection of worst case scenarios.
October 17th, 2008 at 11:01 am
best case scenario: a situation like ironman and obama becomes the first superhero president
it could happen
October 17th, 2008 at 11:19 am
Who’s the ugly chick?
/Seriously, Erin A has nothing to worry about.
