Kansas Getting Lit Up by Graham Harrell
College Football October 25th. 2008, 2:59pm
Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell is going off right now. It’s 55-14 63-14. Homecoming in Lawrence sounds like Fenway Park during games three and four against Tampa when the Rays happily took turns launching balls into and over the monster.
As of this post, Harrell is 34-for-42 for 386 yards and 5 freaking touchdown passes. Not quite as fancy as 10-Yard Fight (then again, what is?), but pretty damn effective.
Who does this guy think he is, David Klingler circa 1990? And who does Kansas think they are, Syracuse?
Tech put together an impressive assault in the first half scoring on all of their possessions except for their final drive, which was courageously stopped by an aggressive game clock.
How many touchdowns will Harrell throw for if he’s not pulled? They’d be crazy to leave him in, but it’d be fun for us. There’s still almost a full quarter left to play. He’s been pulled. But it doesn’t change anything, Taylor Potts just threw a TD to Adam James, son of former Patriot Craig James. It’s now 63-14.
On the other side of the moon, Kansas quarterback Todd Reesing has thrown three picks in the second half, sadly resembling the more depressing version of David Klingler.

5 plays and 3 picks in the 3rd quarter for KU. Outstanding.
I didn’t say much this week, but I did not understand why anyone thought KU would win. KU has no pass rush, run D, D coverage, run game, special teams, etc. Sam Houston St. lit us up. I am stunned about the pathetic offense.
Also, KU fans hate those rich Johnson County assholes that sit in the endzone in the leather seats with shade, tv, and fluffers.

They gotta get Reesing the hell out of there.

the end of the northwestern/iu game was hilarious. nw’s quarterback got hurt so they put in the backup and down two with two minutes to go, on second down he thinks hes throwing the ball away to avoid a sack but actually throws it backwards and it goes out of bounds twenty yards back. third down he doesnt see a sack coming and fumbles it. game over, lose to a winless conference team, the nation continues to laugh at the big ten
October 25th, 2008 at 3:55 pm
But if a winless SEC team beat a good SEC team, it would show the strength of the SEC.
Lovin’ the hypocrisy.

Northwestern and IU are Big Ten powerhouses.
October 25th, 2008 at 4:02 pm
i dont buy that sec crap though
its laughable for a top 25 team to lose to a team that was 0-4 in conference with its only wins coming from murray state and western kentucky
October 25th, 2008 at 4:07 pm
and as for northwestern, its retarded that a team with wins against duke, syracuse, ohio, southern illinois (KILLER OUT OF CONFERENCE SCHEDULING!), iowa and purdue was ranked 22nd at this point in the season. whats the best win out of that? iowa and southern illinois maybe as theyre the only ones with winning records?

at the tx game, they just asked t boone pickens what it was like to lose a billion dollars. he said it wasn’t very fun.

Mole, I like you. You are good people. But who the fuck has Penn State played? They have the 82 worst ranked strength of schedule.
October 25th, 2008 at 4:30 pm
it doesn’t matter if you win them all. those schedules are made 10 years in advance.
October 25th, 2008 at 4:31 pm
im not a penn state fan or big ten sympathizer so im not going to even remotely try and argue against your correct point
at least theyve beaten everyone they played. …… thats all i got

whatd you see?
i want to see saw (no way of saying that outloud without it sounding odd) even though i know its going to suck, i just want to see the pendulum thing at the beginning because the discovery channel was so certain it couldnt work
October 25th, 2008 at 4:58 pm
do you want ok st to win or just cover? tx can’t stop them but i am not sure they can stop tx.

Why does Texas sound dead? At least compared to LSU it does. That place can’t be dead, I’m blaming ABC.
