Ryan Leaf and Substance Abuse?
1-liner, Drugs, NFL November 6th. 2008, 9:00amRyan Leaf: “KAMR NBC 4’s Brad Fralick spoke with Canyon police Chief Bobby Griffin this afternoon, and he says a preliminary investigation is underway for alleged substance abuse involving Leaf. Griffin said he hesitates to call it a criminal investigation because he doesn’t know if a crime has been committed, but an investigation is ongoing.” Man, the first round of the 1998 NFL draft is littered with cautionary tales (some of them are sad): Wadsworth, Enis, Turley, Jason Peter, and Georgia’s Robert Edwards, to name a few. Wow. The link on the Yahoo home page is pretty brutal. It says “One of the worst QBs ever.” Really? I mean, he sucked in the NFL, but I’m pretty sure he’s better than me.

I see Enis hanging around my home town every few months. I guess he has a job at a cabinet place or something. Blew all of his money and has nothing left. Seems like an OK guy to me though.

Turley was a beast for a good 3 or 4 years there. Are you referring to him being cautionary because of the Damian Robinson incident? I remember watching that play live and I didn’t blame Turley one bit for how he reacted. Okay maybe after he started eating Robinson’s face and spitting out the blood and laughing like a madman while doing it, that was a little much. But everything before that part was completely warranted IMO.

way late to the party, but how is enis a “cautionary tale”, tbl? he pissed away money on some scam christian athletes cult, but beyond that…?
pointofattack, enis used to be an installer and then later in sales at clopay garage doors. now he’s a sheriff’s deputy and softball team ringer.
