College Football November 15th. 2008, 9:32pm
The number 1 team in the nation is in trouble right now. OK, I don’t know if that’s true, but they’re only up 12-7 at the half, so the game is at least up in the air. (6) USC is up a touchdown as they start the 4th quarter against Stanford.
Michigan lost 21-14 to Northwestern today, dropping them to 3-8. For those of you keeping score at home, that’s the most loses they’ve had in the University’s history. This is where we laugh and revel in schradenfreude.
Florida whipped the shit out of South Carolina 56-6. Tim Tebow had yet another huge game with 2 touchdown passes and a 1-yard dive for a “rushing” touchdown.
tOSU beat Illinois 30-20 behind Pryor and Wells. Ohio State rushed for 305 yards and passed for 49. I’m guessing the line did a good job.
Maryland upset #15 North Carolina 17-15. That’s as in depth as I’m getting.

I know Michigan deservedly gets the pub for a disastrous first season under RichRod, but I personally think that A&M is giving them a run for their money. Michigan mostly loses close games against halfway decent teams (with the exception of Toledo). The Aggies have lost at home to Arkansas State, and they just got their asses destroyed by Baylor. Fucking Baylor.
And Michigan has a chance to be competitive within the next five years.

Just to be pedantic. It actually isn’t Michigan’s worst season of all time. They had a couple teams in the 30s go 1-7 and a 2-7 team in 1962. It is the most losses though.
