Tonight: Oklahoma St. @ Texas Tech
College Football November 8th. 2008, 6:22pm
Some questions and thoughts going into tonight’s game where the Red Raiders will welcome the Cowboys into the inviting confines of Jone AT&T Stadium their home turf.
Will everyone still be hungover from last Saturday’s madness? Probably not, expect that place to be more insane than Paul Bearer’s face.
With so much attention still being paid to the exciting events from last weekend, which has to be the best game we’ve seen thus far, some are forgetting what a crazy game these two teams played last year. OSU won 49-45 but Graham Harrell threw for 646 yards. Insane.
Safe to say if he does anything like that tonight, they’ll be making arrangements to erect a statue of his dong by week’s end.
However, can anything top what immediately followed last year’s meeting?
Is it possible for Harrell and Crabtree to do this again? If so, who will do the Fowler?
Will ABC be gracious enough to mic up the great Mike Leach for the entire game?
Will Brent Musberger overreact to something?
And will I finally crack this Guinness?
Looking forward to seeing Harrell play again, the guy is fun to watch.
Enjoy the game. If anything comes up or you got something good, I’ll be near the computer, so don’t hesitate.

I missed a Milanokis comment earlier in the day, let me say he looks like a fourty five year old Milanokis.

And just as antagonistic in this shot.

“meet me, dont beat me, at the wafflehouse”.
I like the Red Raiders tonight.

This should be yet another fun Tech game to watch. I’m more excited for UNH-Minnesota hockey though.

i have sufficiently calmed down after the PSU loss. Now, of course, Bama is going to fall. Holding penalty negated a TD, jones dropped a pass, adn they punted.
Colt David will win it for them.
so USC and Florida, right?

Having USC back in the picture pains me considerably.
November 8th, 2008 at 7:04 pm
god saban just exploded like my dad after posting bail for me in college
November 8th, 2008 at 7:05 pm
Saban is such a douche
/understatement

I’m officially on the Texas Tech bandwagon. I’m also unofficially linking Vida Guerra.
November 8th, 2008 at 7:06 pm
How would Florida jump into National Championship situation? Was it only if two of the top three lost tonight?
November 8th, 2008 at 7:08 pm
A douche that has coached the hell out of a team with 67 freshman and sophs and 2 senior starters.
November 8th, 2008 at 7:09 pm
sportsgirl, Florida jumps in the picture if they win the SEC championship.
November 8th, 2008 at 7:11 pm
He’s phenomenal and for whatever reason, he doesn’t bother me.
November 8th, 2008 at 7:13 pm
So for those of us who hate USC (which should be everyone), we wouldn’t have to see them playing for a national championship as long as Texas Tech stays undefeated and either Florida wins the SEC or Alabama stays undefeated?
November 8th, 2008 at 7:13 pm
TSH – those arent real, but they are spectacular.
November 8th, 2008 at 7:15 pm
HOOOOOOOOLY SHIT
November 8th, 2008 at 7:15 pm
Damn
November 8th, 2008 at 7:15 pm
sportsgal, earlier this year you were hating on OSU. Are you just the ultimate hater? Who do you want to see in the NC?
November 8th, 2008 at 7:17 pm
Someone please tell me what happened. How did bama get the ball back?
November 8th, 2008 at 7:18 pm
Holy shit they blocked the last second fg?
November 8th, 2008 at 7:19 pm
I was hating on Ohio State fans and the Big 10 in general. And why do you give a shit who I “hate?”
I just want to see a good game in the National Championship. If USC gets in, so be it. I’ll root against them but hope for a competitive game.
November 8th, 2008 at 7:20 pm
Bama pick YES
November 8th, 2008 at 7:22 pm
Man alive is this LSU quarterback awful
This ‘Bama win is good news for Florida though right since beating an undefeated team in the SEC Title Game should give them a boost
November 8th, 2008 at 7:23 pm
YES It wasn’t pretty, but we’ll take it.
November 8th, 2008 at 7:24 pm
Wow, that finish couldn’t be better for those of us who had Alabama -3.5
November 8th, 2008 at 7:24 pm
I think Florida controls their own destiny. No way do we get 2 Big 12 teams playing each other and USC is too far behind to pass the Gators. So if they win out, the Gators are in.
November 8th, 2008 at 7:24 pm
thanks for the cover, bama!
alabama vs. UF, that’s for one spot in the title game … i guess whoever emerges from the b12 shitshow (OK state? TT? texas? OKL?) is the opponent.
and there’s USC, probably
November 8th, 2008 at 7:25 pm
Did Verne just say, “Let’s go down to Tracy who’s with Dick Saban”?
November 8th, 2008 at 7:28 pm
fucking alabama. i hate Nick Saban. they’re all assholes.
November 8th, 2008 at 7:29 pm
just for the heck of it:
Oklahoma State +3.5
November 8th, 2008 at 7:30 pm
As long as Bama and Florida continue to win going into the SEC championship game, the winner will be in the title game.
As strong as the Big 12 is, I can’t see anyway their champion doesn’t get in the title game.
Of course ESPN will be pushing the hell out of USC for a spot, now that PSU is out of it.
November 8th, 2008 at 7:30 pm
If I hear that saved by zero commercial right now I dont know what I’ll do. It has even infiltrated my hockey watching
