Titans Alive, Rams Suck
1-liner, NFL November 16th. 2008, 6:25pmThe Titans are alive. After trailing 14-3 at the half to the Jaguars, the Titans have come roaring back behind Kerry Collins and taken a 17-14 lead midway through the 3rd. Also, the Rams are horrible. San Francisco is kicking the tar out of the Rams 35-6.

Great. Just what the NFL Network needed. More justification for the “Polamalu Island” hype.

In one of the great moments in gambling history, Pittsburgh picks up the ball as SD tried the Stanford/Cal band play and run it in for the TD with no time on the clock to make the cover.
November 16th, 2008 at 7:23 pm
Oh man, what a cover
November 16th, 2008 at 7:25 pm
or, if you had SD, what a fist in the ass.
November 16th, 2008 at 7:25 pm
Almost as good a cover as Stanford last night..

So, does the TD count? (Illegal forward pass)
November 16th, 2008 at 7:26 pm
Oops!Just 11-10, sorry guys.

Vegas must be in flames right now

No TD.. even if it’s an illegal forward pass, it’s still a forward pass, so it can’t be a fumble.

Whatever – the refs did everything they could to keep the Steelers out of the endzone (and gave SD their only TD). 13 Penalties for 115 yards against PIT (including nullifying a TD), 1 for 5 yards against SD.
/Yes – that’s how bad they were – I’m bitching despite the fact PIT won.

there is a higher power.
November 16th, 2008 at 7:30 pm
Actually – they nullified 2 TDs if you include the final play.

The lesson kids, as always, don’t gamble if you have sharp objects in your house.
November 16th, 2008 at 7:31 pm
um. where was the illegal forward pass?
November 16th, 2008 at 7:31 pm
but it wasn’t a forward pass. it went backward
(not complaining, i won)

Fantastic win for the CBS fag who wasted time and brain cells to determine that this is THE FIRST EVER 11-10 SCORE IN A NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE FOOTBALL GAME. Had that TD counted, he would just look like a douche right now.
November 16th, 2008 at 7:39 pm
TBL, I thought it went backward because it was tipped? No matter though..

i was too distraught to watch the replay at first … i’ll wait for it on NBC. man, brandon jacobs is such a beast, he just let ed reed fall off like he was a fly.
November 16th, 2008 at 7:46 pm
It is really weird to watch Sportscenter on Sunday nights… just a bunch of guys sitting around talking about the games with all the stats on the screen… why would anyone choose to watch this over NBC with the highlights?
November 16th, 2008 at 7:55 pm
um. where was the illegal forward pass?
The Bills have been waiting to show Phil Luckett in Tennessee since 1999 where their’s was. Right where Frank Wycheck threw it over to Kevin Dyson for their bullshit TD.
