He’s Got Odds (Francesa) and He’s Got Evens (Russo)
1-liner, Media Gossip/Musings November 24th. 2008, 2:15pmTaking Sides: Interesting dueling sports talk radio pieces in the NY papers this weekend. Neil Best of Newsday sat down with ornery Mike Francesa for a rare interview and Bob Raissman of the Daily News spoke with Chris Russo of Sirius radio. Much to the chagrin of bloggers, there doesn’t appear to be any beef between the longtime colleagues. But it seems like both radio guys have chosen their media “sides.” Obviously, neither guy was going to deal with Mushnick, who is too much of a loose cannon to align yourself with.

anyone ever notice that mushnick goes after anyone and everyone who he perceives to be slime merchant? yet he gives howard stern a free pass?
when’s the last time anyone read a column from mushnick where he goes after stern? mushnick used to crucify don imus. i’ve only read one column where mushnick took stern to task, and it was almost in a joking, playful way.
what does stern have on mushnick?

I find it laughable that Mushnick will call out stations for what items they advertise when his column will appear in the Post next to an ad for a strip club…Mushnick is a cranky douche

When does Howard Stern do Sports or work on a sports radio station?
Imus worked WFAN for years.
