MLS Cup: Schelotto, Crew, Crush Red Bulls
1-liner, Soccer November 23rd. 2008, 5:42pmMLS Cup: Guillermo Schelotto, this season’s MLS MVP, distributed three assists as the Columbus Crew handily beat the New York Red Bulls 3-1 to collect its first MLS title. New York’s Dane Richards, the former Clemson star and current Jamaican national team member, was the most dynamic player on the field. We’d love to see him race Florida Gators football speedsters Jeff Demps and Chris Rainey.

Sad that the MLS Commish couldn’t even get the Crew’s Captain right, when he was standing right there…you know the player that actually had the Captain’s Armband on. Rob Stone with the rescue, what a dope.
